Hello Tumblr. I feel like I should introduce myself in case you don't know me from another fandom. For now I'll stick to the basics: I'm Indy, I use she/her pronouns, and I love all things scary! I made this blog because I'm getting into the spirit of the spooky season and am ready to show my horror-junkie side to Tumblr.

If you're following this blog, you can expect to see appreciation for all kinds of horror here. I'll post about the mainstream TV and films, scary stories, thriller novels, unsettling music, YouTube and internet horror (including analog horror), videogame horror, fun-bad spooky films, horror in fanworks, cosplay...you name it, and I'll probably be posting about it.

I will try my best to tag everything appropriately and keep the majority of posts SFW. If I miss a tag or trigger and you happen to notice, please let me know so that I can fix it. Just remember that this is a spooky blog...enter at your own risk!

I'm not going to delve into horror fandoms here because it's a lot, but if you have something you want me to talk about feel free to leave requests in my ask box.

Love buffy but i am. Very nervous about a reboot. Like btvs is one of my favorite shows ever and naturally i've had thoughts like "omg i want more of this" but like. I don't think i actually want more of it? I don't want buffy to be the next victim of capitalist nostalgia bait reboot slop. I don't want a version of buffy trying desperately to bring back the ambiance of the 90s in some uncanny way, nor do i want a version of buffy that's like, "woah we're slayers and we've got instagram now!" And maybe this reboot won't be that, but i'm nervous that it will be. Let the remainder of this world live in imagination, i think it will be stronger that way

I got this pathetic wet-cat of a man a few months ago. Found him loose at a secondhand store for $8 and just had to have him. The likeness is actually pretty good (although it doesn't translate well when photographed), I just wish we'd get some nicer official figures for BtVS as a whole. I would kill for a NECA ultimate Spike, something a little more detailed, soft clothing, and actually articulatable. But he's my first Spike, so I'll take what I can get. Really need to give him a good cleaning, though

Happy Halloween to all the internet losers out there! In case you were wondering: Yes, we went trick or treating. You can’t grow out of free candy. Here’s a pic of me walking down the street in my costume:

As you can tell, I’m Carrie White! I didn’t wear the crown for trick or treating because it kept falling out but dw, you’ll see it later..

Richie is a werewolf, Stan an Angel, Bill a vampire, Mike Frankenstein’s monster, and Eddie is.. a chicken, for some reason. And there’s my Carrie costume again, this time with the crown yeah! And Ben is the world’s most poetic mummy.

All in all, Happy Halloween, and I hope your day and costumes are spooky.. in a good way.
