Popsicle stick sunglasses! Almost finished. I wanted to have a go at making my own wooden sunglasses but felt like doing something different so decided to make them out of popsicle sticks. These are almost finished, as you can see by the pics they need a little shaping and finishing. In total I used just over 100 sticks and whole bunch of waterproof wood glue. The lenses can be removed by popping them out.

Today I rode my bike on the Bristol to Bath railway path. Bike paths are exactly as depicted in pokemon, thankfully I didn't get into any fights but I did catch myself a pikachu.

Spirited Away – The Boiler Room is a fun little Oculus Rift tech demo that allows users to step into one of the most iconic scenes in Spirited Away. Old Kamaji is there, with all 6 of his arms hard at work, as well as lots of little Susuwatari, busy carrying coal to the boiler. Although you can’t interact with anything, it’s a wonderful experience just stepping into the perfectly recreated boiler room, and just the sort of thing that Oculus Rift is made for.
