T E R M I N A L: muse a needs to get out. all their life they’ve stayed in the same small house in the same small town and they’ve grown tired. so with their life-savings, they leave the state to go on an adventure. wherever their finger lands on the map is where they’ll travel to next. muse b is of close relation (sibling, cousin, best-friend, etc) and muse a’s parents trust them. the parents ask muse b to return muse a home, but when they try, they’re suddenly dragged along for the trip

B R I G H T : muse a and muse b were both reluctant to go to camp during the summer. it seemed like a waste of time and an excuse for their parents to go on a vacation without them. but when they meet each other, it’s hard to leave when the whole thing is over. now, on opposite sides of the state/country, both muse a and muse b are trying to make the most of their long distance friendship/relationship

M A R C H  I N T O  T H E  S U N : the apocalypse has set in earlier than anyone would have thought. the day it does, both muse a and muse b are separated from their families and thrown together by some strange act of fate. now, they must survive together, having never met each other before. and teamwork is the only thing that can keep them alive.

C O M E  W I T H  M E : muse a has never felt at home living in their home. between the fights and the yelling, there’s not a second of rest. when they meet muse b, a kid in a bad running foster home, both have similar ideas. now on the run with their guardians tracking after them, the two have to live in the shadows, but neither has ever felt so alive.

N O T H I N G  W R O N G : muse a looks at the world from an ever-pessimistic point of view. not many people approach them because of their silence. muse b feels the same about the world, but puts up a front of liveliness for their friends. when muse b first approached muse a (for a group project, dare, etc), they’re both surprised at how much they have in common. with each other, they find that the world doesn’t feel so hopeless

W E ’R E  N O T  A L O N E : muse a and muse b have lived together for as long as they can remember (siblings, cousins, friends, etc), and for as long as they can remember, their parents have been fighting. when talk sprouts up stating muse b might be the problem of the household, muse a promptly disagrees. in defiance of their statement, muse a takes muse b before any eviction can happen and attempt to find a new living arrangement.

C O O L  K I D S : muse a has always fit into the popular crowd, despite their humble beginnings. muse b, to say the least, has not. muse b doesn’t mind this particularly, but when an old friend (muse a) begins antagonizing them, they’re determined to change opinions just to prove them wrong. with a whole movie makeover and some turncoat lackeys, muse b tries to tear away muse a’s power over the school.

T E L L  H E R  Y O U  L O V E  H E R : muse a lives with their grandparents, but they’ve learned all of their relationship skills from their parents. because of this horrible example set, their significant other, muse b, has been treated terribly. when one of muse a’s grandparents suddenly falls to their death bed, they give their grandchild a booklet. this tells them of their observation of the relationship and all the wrong that had been done. muse a is determined to follow their grandparents words and change all the wrongs done

T H I N K I N G  O U T   L O U D : muse a and muse b have been running mischief together for as long as they can remember. they both contribute the blame to their parents, who were best friends all throughout their lives as well. and now, their friendship has veered into a different path. their love has switched roads. it just feels so natural that they're together and can't think about life without each other. codependence isn't always a bad thing.

T E N E R I F E  S E A : it started out as a joke. muse a invited muse b to one of their family's formal dinner parties to get their relatives off of their case. so many business opportunities to talk about, but somehow, a young adult's love-life was much more interesting. muse b agreed to it, having grown up in a much poorer setting, just to see what it was like. the first party that they attended together, muse a found much more interesting than any had ever before, all of the attention taken off from them. muse b found it to as amazing as they imagined. they fit in naturally in the setting, creating avid conversation with all around. after that, a pact was made. muse a and muse b would be formal dates to these parties in each event. but what happens when an act begins to slip into reality?

S H I R T S L E E V E S : muse a has been slowly falling for muse b ever since their first conversation. of course with no mention of it to them, muse b would never know. to them, muse a is the friend they can trust and go to when they're crying. with muse b hopping from one broken relationship to the next, muse a waits expectantly, hoping that they will in line to finally set it right, but plan on staying even if they aren't. 

R U N A W A Y : muse a and muse b are of close relation (siblings, cousins, friends, etc) and know quite a bit about each other's situations. muse b knows about muse a's rocky relationship with their parents and muse a knows about muse b's failed classes that they never bring up. the last fight between muse a and their parents turns things sour and muse b is unknowingly there to witness both it and the aftermath. seeing the distress brought to muse a's parents after they leave, muse b tries to track down muse a, in attempt to bring them back. the problem? every time they find them, muse a skips away in the night before muse b can truly catch them.

P H O T O G R A P H : muse a doesn't remember staying in one place for more than a year, so when year two passed and they were still in the same small town, it came as a shock. they finally began opening up, they found themselves well-liked throughout the place. when they found muse b, it would be a lie to say that they hit it off immediately. for some reason, muse b seemed just like them before they started truly showing themselves. unlike muse a, who was forced to leave many a time, muse b had to grow used to others leaving them. but when another year passed, everything had changed. the relationship between muse a and muse b had blossomed into something many only see once in a lifetime (platonic or romantic). but when migration calls, muse a's family never ceased to answer, so in the summer of the third year, they were once more pulled away. now muse a and muse b hope to keep everything together even with the long distance until muse a reaches the age where they can move back once more.

O N E : muse a and muse b have been together for the past couple years of high school, but adulthood is approaching fast. muse b is leaving to the other side of the country/out of country for their college because of their academic success. muse a, on the other hand, is not. muse a is staying in the same town of their high school to take over the family business without taking on the schooling. both have it in their minds that after the summer, "us" will become singular. there are so many possibilities to make memories neither can forget, but time flies when you're having fun.

N I N A : muse a and muse b met in their teen years at muse a's coffee shop gig. muse b was seconds from leaving due to the noise (studying isn't an easy task when there's a live performance), but after hearing a snippet of the first song, was intrigued to stay. after the gig, muse b bought muse a a coffee out of impulse and both ended up staying until closing time. different high schools, different lives. despite it all, it wasn't the last time they saw each other. muse b continued to go to the gigs, watching as muse a began to demand a bigger and bigger spotlight. it seemed like clockwork when they got together. nothing had changed, they had just put a label on it. but when muse a begins touring, and muse b begins their dream college searches, it proves a challenge to keep everything together.

T H E  M A N : muse a and muse b were the two that everyone said would make a cute couple. they just went with it. it wasn't until the end of their junior year when things actually got serious within their relationship. both had it in their minds that there was only supposed to be good within a relationship, so they decided to call it off, but remain friends. it seemed like the best idea until muse a started dating someone new in the summer. muse b tried to brush it off as best as they could, but couldn't help finding themselves jealous, especially when muse a began to pick certain events over theirs. they both figured out that rocky relationships exist much too late.

D O N' T : muse b never liked labels. muse a couldn't even call them "friends with benefits" without muse b shushing them. so when muse b started sleeping with another person, muse a shouldn't have been so shocked, or felt so betrayed, but they did. as if the long nights, teary-eyed, didn't matter for anything. even if they did, muse b would rather die before admitting it.
