This is a rewrite of Alan Becker’s ‘Animation vs Minecraft series—focusing on a reimagined version of Purple as a female stick named Indigo.

In this alternate universe:

Indigo is a darker version of Navy, a more masculine version of Purple, who’s less masculine and a darker version of Orchid.

She grows up in an emotionally abusive home, controlled by Navy who restricts her freedom “for her protection”.

Indigo isn’t trained—she fights back, wild and raw, trying to prove she’s capable.

She’s guarded, aggressive, and refuses to take orders— especially from anyone trying to “protect her”.

Her arc is about trust, betrayal, and choosing connection over control.

(Animation vs Minecraft Ultra-Universe Rewrite)

From exile to empathy. From flight to friendship. Indigo finds a new kind of power.

🌀 Episode 8 - Through the Portal

Green and Blue see her.

A Dark blue with a sharp silhouette and a steady posture.

Indigo.

She looks around once before stepping into the Nether Portal—tense, watchful. Not anxious. Not scared. Just calculating.

She vanishes into the glow.

Green and Blue exchange a look.

Then follow.

The episode ends there—just like canon. But what they find is not what they expect.

👑 Episode 9 - Queen Bee

Green and Blue land inside a new system. A Mac PC.

Sleek. Peaceful.

Until they’re grabbed by villagers and hauled toward a palace made of cobblestone, stone bricks and oka wood.

They’re dropped in front of a throne.

And there she is

Indigo. Sitting calmly. Her gestures warm, but guarded.

She tilts her head.

They expect the worst.

Instead, she stands. Offers a hand.

“You’re like me,” her gesture says. “You’re not a threat.”

⁉️ Misunderstood Help

Green and Blue begin offering Nether quartz to the villagers. Their way of helping.

But the villagers misread it as disruption—like they’re interfering with sacred trade.

Suddenly—

Green and Blue are grabbed and thrown in a cage with a golem watching them.

Indigo rushes down from her throne.

“Stop! Let them go! They didn’t do anything wrong!”

She scolds the villagers. Unlocks the cage herself. Turns to Green and Blue, flustered.

She bows her head—“I’m sorry. They acted without me.”

They forgive her. A bit confused—but relieved.

The seed of trust is planted.

🛠️ Building Something New

Green and Blue stay. Help. They share their gold blocks with the villagers—treading begins.

Soon, a massive castle is built, crafted by the villagers. A status of Indigo stands at the top.

She watches them from afar, stunned.

Not with pride. With disbelief.

“They actually care?”

Green and Blue walk up to her.

She hesitates- then pulls two crowns from her satchel.

She crowns them both.

“Fellow rulers,” her gestures say.

“You helped me build this. It’s yours too.”

And together, they step into the End Portal.

🐲 Episode 10 - The Ender Dragon Fight

They land in the End.

This time, Indigo doesn’t freeze. She leads.

She knows how to fight.

She flies above with her Elytra like a bee.

She uses strategy, not brute strength.

She doesn’t bark orders—she protects.

When the Ender Dragon is weakened, and Green and Blue try to tie it down—they slip.

They fall.

🕊️ Elytra Saves

Indigo sees it.

No hesitation.

She dives off the end stone platform, wings unfurled, slicing through the air with practiced force.

She grabs them mid-fall. One in each arm. Her wings crackle—she pushes through.

They crash back onto the island, safe but breathless.

Indigo breathes hard. Then laughs. “Not losing anyone today.”

🫂 First Friends

The Color Gang—Red, Yellow, Orange (The Second Coming), and Villagers—wait on the other side.

Just Green stepping forward. Hugging her.

Then Blue.

Then Yellow. Then Red. Even Orange places a hand on her shoulder.

It’s messy. Honest. New.

Her face cracks.

For the first time since she was a child—Indigo feels loved.

🌘 A Note on What Comes Next

She was sweet.

She was kind.

She fought besides them.

But it wasn’t all truth.

Her smile was real—but also her trust was fragile—but growing.

This was her first friendship.

And it will be the first thing she ever breaks in Animation vs League of Legends.

Immmmm I have another question about her (that I don't know if it has been addressed or not, sorry)

So, the show portrays Purple as manipulative, right? The part where he gets down and looks sad for the color gang to feel guilty and follow him into King's trap? That, and also followed by the fact that he hacked LoL by himself (+ swallowed the archives) must mean that he's really smart and knows how to get his way, at least with people who care about others' feelings like them.

So, if Purple used emotional manipulation to lure them in, what did Indigo do? And about the LoL part, did she hack the game, too?

Yes, canon Purple is manipulative, and that moment in Episode 9 where he guilt-trips the Color Gang into following him is such a perfect example. He knows how to twist emotions when he needs to, and it shows how clever and emotionally calculated he can be.

In contrast, Indigo doesn’t really do that. She’s smart, but her relationship with emotions is different. She’s emotionally guarded/not because she’s hiding a plan, but because she’s been taught that showing too much makes her vulnerable. So instead of weaponizing guilt, Indigo tries to soften herself.

In Episodes 9–10, she acts kind, friendly, even warm, not as manipulation, but as a performance.

A quiet, mask of femininity she learned to wear around people so they wouldn’t leave.

(Especially sticks like Green.)

It’s like a survival tactic, not a trap and ironically? That fake kindness ends up hurting her too because when the others turn against her later, she realizes that even when she played along, she was never really accepted.

SO Yes! Indigo did hack the League of Legends server like Purple did, but not like when the color gang befriends her in the end and invite her to play on their team.

The changes might be like: Episode 9-10 - more nicer with a masked femininity. The League of legends Episode - she was already friends with them until color gang do something that upsets her (she might misunderstood something they did) and in return she turns against them.

Extra: Red absolutely despise Indigo unlike when they were with Purple

HIIII SO I HAVE A FRW HEADCANONS I want to share and hear your opinion if you don't mind I'm sorry

Firstly the reason why Indigo has a gf but Purple doesn't. I thought it could be because Purple ended up with his father's beliefs about homosexuality and at the time there wasn't any girl who had caught his attention. There was a boy but no way he would've ever thought about seriously asking him out (because, in Navy's words, it was "gross and unnatural"). Indigo was more of a rebel, a feminist and a proud bi woman who found the girl she liked and asked her out regardless of whatever her father would say about it.

(And if we think about a siblings universe, Purple would've probably pretended he didn't know and ignore everytime he saw her and her gf together because he secretly supported it and didn't want her to get in trouble with their father)

But if it isn't that, what's the reason Purple is single?? Idk if there's any post talking about that so I wanted to ask

Another headcanon:

"I'll prove to you I can be strong." "I'll prove to you I am strong." Is how I feel their contrast in personalities.

Purple doesn't think of himself as strong and had always seen himself as a weakling, but would never let it show in front of anyone, so he doesn't have the confidence to call himself strong or anything remotely similar.

Indigo, on the other hand, has more confidence in herself. She KNOWS she's strong and she's determined to prove that to her father.

But, they both know Navy wouldn't want to have kids like them (a masc woman and a fem man), so during the first season they both acted and dressed how it would be expected from their respective sexes. Indigo as a feminine and friendly woman and Purple as a masculine and more dominant man (couldn't find another word)

Also Indigo's voice is an electric guitar as opposed to Purple's being a violin

So to explain a bit — I already rewrite Indigo backstory, I rewrote Navy to be more emotionally overbearing than outright aggressive — he tried to protect Indigo by controlling everything about her, which included how she expressed herself (especially femininity). He thought softness vulnerability would make her weak and unsafe. So instead of being trained, Indigo was emotionally caged, constantly told who to be and how to act "for her own good." Her strength comes from breaking free of that control. (You’re right on her being feminine on Ep 9-10, but I still haven’t posted the rewrite)

So YES the way you wrote "I'll prove to you I can be strong" vs "I'll prove to you I am strong" fits Indigo SO WELL. That is 100% her. She’s got this confidence in her power, but it’s a kind that comes from fighting to keep it.

As for the girlfriend headcanon?? GORGEOUS. Absolutely love it 💜💅

I haven’t written a canon reason for why Indigo has a gf and Purple doesn’t, but it’s sort of fun Idea I did with my friend (I made a post joke of Green not being attracted to her because he likes men so she ended up with a girl instead)

Also the voice headcanon “Guitar vs violin??” THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT I WAS GOING FOR WHEN INDIGO STARTS EXPLAINING/TELLING HER BACKSTORY (but obviously I can’t write/play music 💔)

Some relationships changes and rewrites I did of the Indigo AU

🎬 Episode 29 — Backstory

🟪 Canon Purple

When Purple was young, his father, Navy, trained him harshly, pushing him through brutal combat to make him strong. Purple lost every time.

His mother disapproved, stepping in to defend him—each time failing.

Eventually, Purple’s father left, disappointed in his "weak" son and frustrated by the interference.

Purple’s mother passed away from illness, leaving him alone.

Purple grew spiteful and determined to impress his father—hoping strength and success would one day win approval.

🟦 Indigo AU

Indigo was never trained—her father, Navy, was protecting her.

That “protection” meant locking her indoors, controlling her every move, and silencing her will.

Every time she disobeyed, they screamed—arguments that shook the house.

Her mother, stood quietly between them, shielding Indigo without words.

Indigo returned bruised from a Secret battle—stronger, freer. Navy erupted. Indigo shouted back. Orchid stood behind them.

Indigo’s hand hit Navy’s hand. He froze. Then left.

Orchid's health failed not long after. And passed away.

Indigo never cried. She touched the open door—and walked into her own strength.

She trained herself. Grew cold. Learned to never need anyone’s control again.

👑 Episode 30 – Meeting King Orange

🟪 Canon Purple

Purple sees King Orange’s wanted posters for the Color Gang.

Wanting to prove himself, Purple approaches King Orange directly.

To earn trust, he demonstrates his fighting and flying skills.

Inside King’s home, Purple sees a photo of Orange’s son—a personal moment he’s not invited into.

In the Nether, they fought Piglin Brutes.

After victory, Purple kneels, offers one of his crowns to King as a gift.

King Orange accepts and headpats Purple—a symbolic gesture of mastery, acceptance, and hierarchy.

🟦 Indigo AU

King Orange spots Indigo fighting mobs in the Overworld—wounded, angry, and relentless.

She’s flying with her Elytra, tearing through the mobs. King is impressed—and cautious.

He offers help. She refuses it, and just keeps going.

He places a golden apple in her inventory.

She stops. Eats it without looking at him.

He draws a symbol with his staff: a Minecraft cube above five circles. (The Color Gang) She points at herself asking—"Why me?"

He gestures to her strength—then at the directions he came from. offering her a choice.

Indigo doesn’t nod. She just walks past him. She’s following—but only because she decided to.

In the Nether, they fight the Piglins together.

When the Brutes bow and demand leadership, she pulls out a crown—not submissively—but as a test.

“Take it.”

He asks why. She tosses him a gold ingot. Taps her chest. Then his.

“I’ve proven myself. Now it’s your turn.”

He takes it and put it on his head.

She doesn’t kneel. He headpats her—not as a master to servant, but a silent show of respect between equals.

🟦 Who Was Indigo?

Indigo wasn’t always cold, aggressive, and guarded.

She wasn’t always the bad mood, stick who could crush a mob barehanded.

Before she became Fierce—She was a cage girl.

⚓️ Navy’s Version of Love

Her father, Navy, claimed to love her. Claimed he was protecting her.

But protection meant:

Locking the doors.

Yelling when she touched them

Threatening silence if she disobeyed.

“You think the world out there is safe”?

“You’ll thank me someday.”

“You don’t know what’s coming.”

He didn’t train her. He caged her. And when she tried to object—it turned to screams.

⚡️ Screams in the Halls

As indigo grew, so did the tension.

“I’m not a child anymore!” —Indigo

“You’re not strong enough yet!” —Navy

“You just want control!” —Indigo

“I’m trying to save your life”! —Navy

Doors slammed. Objects broke. The house became a pressure cooker ready to blow.

Sometimes she would sneak out, come home bruised, scraped, victorious.

And Navy?

He would lose it. Again.

🌸 Orchid’s Role

Her mother, Orchid, moved gently.

but when things got loud—she placed herself between them.

No words.

Just her frame, standing like a wall of light between fire and fury.

⚡️ The Final Straw

One day, Indigo returned home from another secret battle—hurt, proud, breathless.

Navy, fists shaking, yelling so loud the house itself shuddered.

Then—

Indigo started yelling back.

Navy yelled louder.

Orchid was behind them.

Indigo’s posture firm. Her hand hit his Navy’s hand. Navy froze. His hand didn’t fall. It just…hung there.

Orchid cried quietly.

Navy stared at Indigo.

Then turned around and left.

He couldn’t control her anymore. To him she was better off without him if she didn’t obey.

🧊 When The House went cold

Orchid never recovered from that.

She moved slower. Her illness got the best of her.

Then—

Her presence, gone.

No fanfare. No final words.

Just a quiet that filled every room like smoke.

🟦 Who Indigo Became

Indigo didn’t cry. She stood in the hallway. One hand on the doorframe. One foot forward.

For the time ever—The door was unlocked.

No one to hold back. No one to scream at her. No one to stop her from becoming what she wanted.

She left. Trained herself.

Got stronger. Colder. More distant. More dangerous. She swore no one would control ever her again.

Not Navy. Not a King. Not Even Grief.

She buried her softness so deep, she forgot what it looked like.

Until the day she meets two stick figures—Green and Blue

And everything began to shift.

Purple betrayal Green and Blue in Episode 10 and builds up a fake friendship with the Color Gang in Animation vs League of Legends. And then betrayal them again after meeting with King Orange.
