عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ كَمْ صَلَّى ثَلاَثًا أَمْ أَرْبَعًا فَلْيَطْرَحِ الشَّكَّ وَلْيَبْنِ عَلَى مَا اسْتَيْقَنَ ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ فَإِنْ كَانَ صَلَّى خَمْسًا شَفَعْنَ لَهُ صَلاَتَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ صَلَّى إِتْمَامًا لأَرْبَعٍ كَانَتَا تَرْغِيمًا لِلشَّيْطَانِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ صحيح مسلم حديث ٥٧١

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When any one of you is in doubt about his prayer and he does not know how much he has prayed, three or four (rak'ahs). he should cast aside his doubt and base his prayer on what he is sure of. then perform two prostrations before giving salutations. If he has prayed five rak'ahs, they will make his prayer an even number for him, and if he has prayed exactly four, they will be humiliation for the devil." Sahih Muslim 571a In-book reference : Book 5, Hadith 110

في هذا الحديثِ يَقولُ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم: "إذا شَكَّ أحدُكم"، أي: تَردَّد، "في صَلاتِه "، ولم يَترجَّحْ عندَه أحدُ الطَّرفين بالتَّحرِّي، "فلم يَدرِ كم صَلَّى ثلاثًا، أم أربعًا، فليَطرَحِ الشَّكَّ، أي: المشكوكَ فيه، وهو الأكثرُ، والمعنى: يُلغي الزائدَ الَّذي هو محلُّ الشَّكِّ ولا يأخُذْ به في البناءِ، يعني: الرَّكعةَ الرَّابعةَ، "وليَبْنِ على ما استيقَنَ"، أي: المُتَيَقَّنُ به وهو الأقلُّ؛ فالثَّلاثُ هو المُتَيَقَّنُ، والشَّكُّ والتَّرَدُّدُ، إنَّما هو في الزيادَةِ، فيَبنِي على المُتَيَقَّنِ لا على الزائدِ الَّذي يشُكُّ فيه، ثُمَّ يَسجُدُ سجدتين قبل أن يُسلِّمَ، "فإن كان صلَّى خَمْسًا"، فإن كان ما صلَّاه في الواقعِ أربعًا فصار خمسًا بإضافةِ ركعةٍ أخرى إليه شفعن له، أي: للمُصلِّي، يعني: شفعتِ الركعاتُ الخمسُ صلاةَ أحدِكم بالسَّجدتين. "وإنْ كان صلَّى إتمامًا لأربع"، إنْ صلَّى ما شكَّ فيه حالَ كونِه مُتمِّمًا للأربع، فيكون قد أدَّى ما عليه من غيرِ زيادَةٍ ولا نُقصانٍ. "وكانتا" أي: السجدتان، "ترغيمًا للشيطان"، أي: دحرًا له ورميًا له بالرَّغام وهو التُّرابُ؛ فإنَّ الشَّيطانَ لَبَسَ عليه صَلاتَه، وتعرَّضَ لإفسادِها ونَقْصِها، فجعَلَ اللهُ تعالى للمُصلِّي طريقًا إلى جَبْرِ صَلاتِه، وتَدارُكِ ما لَبَسَه عليه، وإرغامِ الشَّيطانِ، وردِّه خاسئًا مُبعَدًا عن مُرادِه، وكَمَلَتْ صلاةُ ابنِ آدمَ لَمَّا امتثَلَ أمرَ اللهِ تعالى الَّذي عصَى به إبليسَ، مِن امتناعِهِ مِنَ السُّجودِ . الدرر السنية
