it sometimes baffles me that Mulder is seen as 'deadpan' 'micro-expressions' 'hard to read' 'non-emotive' when i feel like he has really big, easy to read and broadly projected emotions and reactions, often even exaggeratedly, or rather dangerously obvious ones. Like, 'calm down, everyone can read you and use it against you,' level 😭
