Please take a moment to look at Eman Zaqout's story!! She is a dedicated researcher and doctor, looking to pursue her education further and obtain her degree. Eman and her husband Mahmoud have two little children, all four of them having been displaced from their destroyed home and currently reside in a displacement camp, where they do not have access to the necessary items such as sanitary equipment, water, food, etc. Eman has met good news amidst all the suffering, and is one of the 22 women to receive a fellowship for her PhD in Malaysia, though she cannot cross the border because of the blockage from the army.
Her gofundme is currently at 71% out of her $60k goal, hosted by her lifelong family friend and former neighbour, Mazin Fakak from Canada. Donations not only contribute to Eman and her family's lives, aiding them in their crisis where they stand in the face of death, but also to the lives of so many more individuals. Eman has dedicated her life to research and helped cancer patients in their own battle for life, but now is unable to due to the destruction of her research institute and her displacement. I urge you to thoroughly read her story, where she remains hopeful despite all the horrors she is currently facing in Gaza.
