They got peace forever! They have each other. And that's everything they ever wanted and needed.

I’m sobbing so hard I can’t breathe. It was a beautiful ending - as we predicted, not exactly what we’d have hoped for for our ineffables - but it was beautiful, and right, painful in all the ways I like it, and just extremely Terry Pratchett.

My health has been unstable, and now I fear my mental health will join it 😆 I have never been very good at endings…

GOOD OMENS 3 SPOILERS

Time to share my load bearing headcanon: This life as humans was a gift to them both, but when they die they will wake as an angel and demon again bc god plays games. They get their eternity but they also got to live as the beings they love so much.

like, honestly, it was overall much better than I expected and the ending is VERY sweet! it just makes me sad to think about it ending forever, so I'm very happy to accept this as canon and also accept that god is playing "find the lady" with the universe
