Went to city hall today to see if they'd help us pay a bill to get a place, was denied because we have no home and they can't help anyone who doesn't have a place already set up. This was our last place we could check because evey other organization in town ran us in circles between each other and all denying us for not having an address when the whole point is for us to escape homelessness but don't worry because when a home magically drops on us then they can totally help us :l

When I was there there were two other homeless people set up out by the bus’s transfer point right across from city hall and a pregnant lady set up on on the steps of the hall itself during awful hot weather. I've meet multiple people who all day stand on the highway begging for money and the hotel I'm staying in is filled with other homeless people like me desperately trying to keep up with the cost and plenty getting kicked out because they can't.

This town a fucking joke, so meny people are left in a death spiral but our mayor only wants to harass our librarians and build million dollar townhouses that nobody moves into because everyone is drowning instead of helping.
