Stanton LaVey, age 44, has passed through the veil on Dec. 19. Hail Satan and rest in peace, sir!
Heading out to give a presentation over general Dark Arts practices of the Left Hand Path in the north Dallas area. Wish me luck!

Every gorgeous detail feeds my dark little soul 🖤
Gathering all the clothing and robes I will need to begin my life as a religious monk of the Dark Arts. To eternally dedicate the remainder of my life and the entirety of my being to the pursuits of black magick.

Meditation, language studies, physical exercise, musical studies, and reading; a whole lot of reading and scribbling notes. This will become my life, when/ifI decide to take this step. Once such a commitment is made, it is not easily broken.

Just a little nightly humor:
-
Everytime I walk by my bookcase, I can't help but chuckle at the idea of keeping the Holy Qar'an sandwiches between an academic book on logic and the Atheist Manifesto. Probably one of the funner displays for my atheists friends when they visit.
My secondary, smaller altar. If I am simply performing a visualization exercise or meditation, I will direct my working here. In addition, if I am performing a rather extravagant ritual in which more space is required, I will gather my books and offering bowls on this shrine to the spirits while my main altar remains my ritual work station. To have a separate working space, one for me and one for the spirits shows a larger degree of respect. Having a specific altar to bring glory to the powers that be assists with the ritual workings through a show of respect to any evocation of the demons. I offer them their own area of my ritual chamber.
“I have grown to love secrecy. It seems to be the one thing that can make modern life mysterious or marvelous to us. The commonest thing is delightful if one only hides it.” – Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray
The book that started it all... Where would we be without the work of one of the greatest occultists of our time?
