((idk if it's because I'm old af and grew up in a slightly different online environment but I find it weird how "I ship it" nowadays seems to mean "I support/condone this kind of a relationship in real life" instead of just "I find this particular relationship dynamic interesting in fiction"... especially on Tumblr >_o Like as long as you realize a toxic ship is not actually a Good Relationship I think it's totally fine to ship it? I hate stuff like idk Twilight where the nastiness of the toxic/abusive relationship is portrayed as romantic and as some kind of Relationship Goals though, that's just awful.
