This photo was taken about three years ago when I was first inspired to play guitar by my best friend and musician named Hanna. I have been teaching myself ever since, and without internet it can be extremely difficult, so because I have had access while house sitting for a teacher friend of mine this week, I sat down and played for 7 hours straight. Time brushed away with the synchronization of my two hands; creating a harmonious melody of which my brain could generate effortlessly. Patterns forming and words pieced together; a stream of unlimited poetic consciousness flowed right into my ears. Quite the healing this delivered to my tinnitus ridden eardrums shocked by the fire alarm I set off tonight while making dinner. All I can say is: everything takes practice. And when it means enough to you that you can forget all about where you are or what time it is, you should let nothing stop you. Sometimes it takes loosing yourself in the process, to find your true self once again. One of the many ways we connect my lovely infinite. xoxo
