Ronan backed away. “Where did you get this? Are you mad?!? The whole galaxy will be looking for it!! You’ll start a world war!!!”

He grabbed the stone, with it still inside the case, and yelled at his scepters in kree. They took it from him and ran to do what he had said with it.

With a small sigh she snapped her fingers and the stone was back in her hands. "I'll just keep it with me then.... I'll not let those unworthy touch my soul."

With a faint chuckle she walked up and touched his shoulder. “How did you manage to survive? You must truly be worth of the powers of destruction if they didn’t kill you.”

Remaining still, he fought the urge to remove her hand from his shoulder as the realization of who she was hit him. His stance stiffened and his eyes narrowed at her words. “There are beings in this universe who wish me to stay alive.” He answers shortly.

A cat like grin crossed over her lips. "Then I have a question for you.... Do you wish to continue what you started then? If not I'll be happy to vanish again, but only to find another."

"Their will always be men like him. And it is those men I seek…" she said softly with a brow arched, a teasing grin playing on her lips, "And who is to say that he is dead? I never let my power turn of those I find worthy. Not in the way you’d expect."

Peter shook his head. “Then you know what. Bring him here. I’ll call your bluff. If he’s not dead then bring him here. Let’s not forget the only reason he had the stone for so long is because he put it into his hammer. Not because he held it. I held the thing longer than he did so I call your bluff and raise you my own.” Crossing his arms Peter stood firm in his statement.

"My Master is still being put back together... as much as it pains me to say that. His soul though, it is safe." she touched the choker around her neck, the purple stone flashing. "I keep all of their souls with me. It is the price they pay after death."

Being ripped apart by a source of power was not something he looked forward to, yet as the Guardians used the Power Stone against him, he felt the inevitable rush of pain. It coursed through his body like an electric current, sending shock waves through every blood cell in his body. His screams were loud and were probably heard throughout the four corners of the universe, before these abruptly stopped as he felt….nothing.                   He was nothing.  As quickly as the pain started, however, life surged through him once more, and he found himself in bed, a soft mattress beneath him and a sheet flung over his naked form. Ronan made several mad gasps of air, sucking the oxygen from his surroundings as he shook, nearly falling off the bed in the process. Instead he was a quivering mass on the edge of the bed, as he remembered both the feeling of being torn to pieces only to be put back together again. It was not a pleasant thought. 

After what seemed like an eternity, he felt himself being forced into a more comfortable position, the covers pulled up until his shoulders. His eyes cracked open a bit to see humanoid-like shapes leave the room whispering softly about whether their ‘mistress’ would be home soon.  Who this ‘mistress’ was he only learned the next day, as she entered his room and bowed at him. Ronan was awake by then, but she didn’t look familiar. Yet her aura was, and he wondered where the two of them had met. Or if they’d even met physically.

He propped himself up on his elbows as he stared at her, before sitting upright and leaning against the headboard. “By ‘them' I presume you mean the Guardians. Look at me. Am I one who has been treated kindly by those…h e r o e s?”

"Don't be a fool. I mean my servants." she waved her hand and the remaining two fled the room. "Those so called Hero's tried to destroy you... But there was one thing people never seem to count on."

She gave a small mocking sigh before giving him a slight bow, "That we stones are Souls, in the literal sense." smirk playing on her lips she straightened up and walked over next to the bed, "My name is Intinifty. I've never seen a soul like yours before... and I've seen a great deal of them..."

Tilting her head she looked him over. "My power didn't kill you. I must say it is a refreshing first."

"I can't yet bring his body, but soon.... I do after all hold his soul." she touched the near black gem attached to her choker, making its light swirl angrily. "There are things you will never understand... Yes you held 'the stone' which happened by by my soul, longer...  but he is greater than you... you've not an evil thought in you body..." she spoke as it the very thought of that pained her.

Infinity remembered when those fool thought they they had killed her at the time Master. It was nice to let loose so much of her power at once, even if it wasn't how they though. One of her hidden powers. All of her sister had it.

As he body was 'destroyed' she sent it to the first moon that she had consumed. A dead planet, but with one thing. Her personal place of rest. Ronan had been the first she had felt was truly worthy to wield the power she possessed.

A smirk played on her lips. Behind her the entirety of Nova was nothing but a smoldering mess. It had been a trying few weeks, but finally she grew tired and with a blast she left them behind. 

With a snap of her fingers she was before her long forgotten home. Dark light shown through the windows. It seems her servants had woken to care and tend to her... Guest.

With quick steps she entered the dark entrance hall, where a black shadow like being came and took her coat with a bow. Taking measured steps she let the servant lead her to her guest.

While she same smirk played on her lips she entered the room with small bow. "I do hope that they treated you well Ronan. I'd hate to hear things were... unsatisfactory."

Okay so that was slightly creepy. The purple flash of her eyes raised the creep factor that’s for sure. Peter narrowed his own eyes as he thought for a moment. Suddenly everything clicked. “No I didn’t think Nova could hold you I thought they could keep the glaxay safe from turd burglars like Ronan.”

The Kree turns to face the woman who dared address him in such a familiar manner. Bright eyes search her face, only to find that she was a being he did not recognized, and yet the purple fire in her eyes was entirely all too familiar. Remaining silent, Ronan does nothing besides incline his head slightly.

"I’m sure… But why not just wipe it out with a single touch?" she asked with a small sly smile. "It really wouldn’t be that hard after all. I’m sure you’ve seen the power before that I bring."

"You speak truth. But I only act on my fathers wants and will. And if this is not how he seeks his vengeance, then it is not my course of action. And if I was defeated then you will follow close behind if not immediately. I know very well how much power you have, but it pales in comparison to mine and that of the stone which Xandar keeps.", he says, turning away, and looking out of the Dark Aster.

A small smirk tugged at her lips as she leaned back against the nearest wall. "But of course I would follow. I wouldn't dream following another... You've won my interest... and that is very hard to do."
