How hamburger joints are like adult cartoons.

Mcdonalds: The simpsons. A once vital institution that has existed for so long and has become so big it no longer knows why it even exists.

Hardees: Family guy. Crude, crass, lacks subtlety, but it knows it's crap and doesn't try to be anything else.

Burger King: King of The Hill. Maybe a little erratic as of late, but mostly down to earth, serves the fundamentals and never lets you forget about grilling.

Five Guys: Bob's Burgers. Believes in quality and doing things well, but still knows it's a burger place, to avoid becoming conceited or arrogant.

Wendy's: Futurama. One of the big 3, in competition with burger king and McDonalds, but not as successful. not as good as the others, but

In N Out Burger: Bojack Horseman. It focuses on quality of ingredients rather than presentation, not everyone knows about it, but those who do love it. Associated with California to its detriment.

Arby's: F is For Family. Really wants to convince you it isn't a burger joint, but it is and not a very good one. It is unique enough to stand out from the competition.

Fuddruckers: Brickleberry. Poorly made and all the work went into the crude humor.

Red Robin: American Dad. tends to be gimmicky and had it's ups and downs, but it continues to experiment and change.

Shake Shack: Rick and Morty. Most people have no idea what it is, but the fans never shut up about it. It is good, but not enough to justify the levels of hype or devotion.
