It's been a year so recency bias is gone now. I think Thunderbolts is in my top 5 Marvel movies ever made. Maybe it just hits home for me because of my own struggles. But making a movie that's thematic throughline is about mental health, depression and how the relationships to those around us are so important is so much more meaningful to me than what a majority of super hero movies have to say. And yes I LOVE that the ending is solved through the power of friendship.
