Some are tempted to brace the darkness that resides within every living being. While others refuse to acknowledge its presences, choosing without a doubt to believe that there lies only good. I’m not a monster for seeing both sides and yet you treat me with hostility, like the devil. If you can’t open yourself to other perspectives, to other possibilities, if there’s no self-reflection there’s no growth. You will be how you always were, how you always will be. There will be people who will whisper sweet sounding words for you to hear. To be agreeable with everything that you say, because you are always right, fortunately, that’s not me.
