is tumblr the right place for me to say that i’ve always admired timothée chalamet as an actor since long before his “pursuit of greatness” speech at the sag awards?
genuinely his range and skill in playing different roles is so admirable and i’m so so thankful that i was born at a time i could watch his success building in real time because i truly do believe he’s going to be one of the greats.
people always say how amazing it must be to have been alive during the “peak of cinema” and watching the biggest celebrities’ films at the theatre as they release that sometimes they’re blind to our current place within cinema, that i think they’ll regret once this era passes. i don’t think cinema is going downhill, i simply think the over saturation of the market and rise of streaming services definitely makes it difficult for movies to be as renowned as they may have been in a previous era.
timothée chalamet has been an incredible actor his whole career and i absolutely believe he is going to be remembered and honoured as such the more his career progresses.
