Although the numbers are quite limited and they could have added some comparison (I had to Google it to figured how bad is 192g of CO2 per day).

Funny and true criticism.

From the series "We still don't know what to do with it, but's it's cool :)"
Information + Animation + Music
"At www.mta.me, Conductor turns the New York subway system into an interactive string instrument. Using the MTA’s actual subway schedule, the piece begins in realtime by spawning trains which departed in the last minute, then continues accelerating through a 24 hour loop. The visuals are based on Massimo Vignelli’s 1972 diagram."

Love pictograms? Check it out "The Noun Project".
Ambitious idea, inspired for nothing less than "sketch for every single object in the world".
The noun project evoke simplicity, communication, equality.. what's not to like?

Chalktrail.. How nice is this?
I just got a bike and I am wondering if would I break some law drawing London' streets with colour chalks..
anyone?..
yeah.. yeah it is for kids.. kids know fun :)
Life sometimes got busy and we mess with our priorities, let's go back to posting and keep the curiosity level high!
I found these minimalist posters created by Genis Carrera a London based designer and like it! I did not get all easy though..
I've been watching the video series Harvard Justice (which I totally recommend! everyone should know a bit of how this philosophical concepts built our society) and these posters inspired me to learn more!
Yeah! I'm in the short list of Hollywood Challenge of "The Information is Beautiful Awards"!
My interactive visualization was selected among the top 12. I'm so happy :))) (sure more than Cartman!).
It was my first try in the interactive visualization business, but I'm really looking forward to play more with it.
Go and play with my visualization here, you can see the others 12 here.

Hollywood Industry Data
In the past days the 2012 oscar nominees were announced and taking opportunity of this movie vibe the blog Information is Beautiful released a challange for people visualize data from Hollywood Industry. An enormous amount of data of the last 5 years.
I sent mine to the challenge (figers crossed!), but in the process many others simple ideias pop up and they'll be here.

There's always something happening in London, and they worth, they are nice :)
The last days were special, 2 exhibitions at Somerset House, a good talk at Creative Mornings, a Brazilian night at V&A..
plus: a beautiful sunset, a finished book and a (almost) finished project.
At Somerset, "20 Years of Dazed and Confused Magazine" (hurry up, it finishes tomorrow) and to remember the worlds is not always easy "Frontline: A Year of Journalism & Conflict", about the three biggest conflicts in the world last year. Intense, real, important to know.
My first attendance at Creative Mornings was inspiring. Well is not always you have a chance to see a Oscar winner talking about social entrepreneurship.
V&A came with classic soccer, samba and feijoada. Interesting, especially because there were so many people, I have never saw the museum so crowded.
Yeah, Brazil is kind of trendy now.. fifth economy in the world, next world cup and olympics after London, even Dr. House was talking in portuguese in the last episode.
But please, Christ Redeemer at Primorose Hill, seriously?
