Haven't tried to draw in a good few years. My shoulder nerves still hurt from it, but was fun to draw something again after so long ♥️

Had a literal duffel bag of Promarkers and Posca pens. Almost all had dried upp 💀💀💀only these survived.
Almost 10 years of no use. Makes sense, but damn that was a lot of cash back then. Was like good food or pens for years 😅
I've been staring at it for ages and I think it's finally done. Slightly roughened up the surface, looked too plasticy when it was all matt white.
Pocture, past tense of picture.
Just a few more paint layers and its done
In other news, I've gotten more done on the statue. Lots of small details and filling in tiny gaps.
I've also started experimenting with the paint finish and think I got something nice with a rougher texture
So uuh. I think I'll take a break from my hobby game projects for a bit.
The unity situation is too much. I don't think I have it in me to start over again.
Last night I learned about proportional integral and derivative (PID) systems used in things like rockets to better predict forces needed to reach a desired rotation and/or location without overshooting. spent the afternoon learning and implementing it into my balance system. I'm so excited, the game feels so much better with this bit of code!
playing around with self-preservation
like pushing away things that get too close or trying to dampen landings with the arms
screw it lets see what heppens
90% off. just a buck, get it while it's hot
What if, when people die, they do go to heaven... only they're still dead and their bodies are now used as competitors in tournaments?

Up for free now on itch \o/ Give it a go, tell me what you think! https://kabiscube.itch.io/projecthover
getting closer to having it ready for itch.io really excited to see what people think once they actually play it.
Not gonna lie, after weeks of sanding and layers of filler, I'm still mostly enjoying it. It's a chill way to spend my evenings after sitting at a computer all day.
Just wish I dared to use my dremmel, but the walls are too thin here.
playing around with heavier gravity. tricks fit a lot better in this environment. bails also feel even more brutal now, as if that was even needed 😅
