Thinking about some classic Yax again lately!

I just love thinking about how much Yakko and the sibs would have fun taking the piss out of Max and giving him a hard time.

I also continue to play with my art style and refuse to have one solid design for these nerds lol

Is max jealous too?

He feels jealous sometimes, but more in terms of wanting more quality time with Yakko.

In my headcanons, Yakko is emotionally unavailable for a lot of their earlier romantic relationship. He’s much more interested in spending more time with his siblings and causing chaos with them.

For a long time Yakko sees Max more as a playmate than a romantic interest. The romantic interest for Max just kind of hit him in the face one day.

But in terms of jealousy, Max isn’t nearly as jealous as Yakko is. At least not outwardly. He keeps a lot of that to himself.

How's the relationship between Yakko and Roxanne?

(Side note, but if you were to draw more yax kisses, I'd be sooo happy)

Yakko says he’s cool with Roxanne and he’s cordial towards her; but genuinely Yakko is a very jealous toon.

He’s definitely a little jealous that Roxanne and Max have history together and wants Max all to himself. But Roxanne is a big sweetie pie and Yakko can’t hold that against her.

(And I’m sure more yax smooches are in the future! Thank you for enjoying my stuff!)

Somebody asked for an outfit swap and I already drew Yak in Max’s hoodie, so here’s a cursed drawing of Max in Yakko’s style slacks.

Now I'm curious, how's their relationship with the other's close ones (friends, relatives, etc)?

I think the Warners are the kind of kids to get along with everyone as long as they’re treated well. They’re also endless pranksters, so I’m sure they’d make a few platonic enemies and frenemies for sure lol

Bobby would be besties with Wakko. Wakko would love hanging out with him and doing weird things and building crazy contraptions with him! I think Dot would be repulsed by their gross behaviors but she’d be intrigued by their builds. She’d play Minecraft with them though lol

Yakko gets along well with both Bobby and PJ pretty well! He loves taking the piss out of both of them when he can. Bobby loves his stupid puns. He and PJ are just chill.

Dot says it’s too many boys when they’re all together, but she’d have a younger sister like relationship with Roxanne and Stacy are around! I like to think that Roxanne and Max had an amicable breakup later on but they stay good platonic friends.

I think Donald would hate them, but Daisy would get along swimmingly with them.

Goofy of course is a huge comedy and slapstick icon. The Warners would get along with him really well! I even think they’d play around together. He’d be like a fun uncle to them.

I think they’d torment Mickey, but it’d all be in good fun (plus he’s far too nice to actually get upset with them over it). Definitely an amicable frenemies deal.

In terms of how Max gets along with others from the WB lot, I actually don’t think they’d mingle as much as the vice versa. But just know that he’s always the main target of pranks and slapsticks when he’s on the lot.

A lot of WB toons love teasing him because he’s a Goof. But as he’s gotten older he really just vibes with it and shrugs it off. He can take a gag. Yeah he’s Goofy’s son, but he’s also Max.

I can definitely see him getting into hijinks on the lot with his skateboard when the Warners sneak him in for fun times.

Sorry this was definitely a ramble! Hope everything I said makes sense lol

Nah, I’m not a huge fankid person. But if that’s what you like, I’m all for it! I love seeing other people’s fankids and ideas!

Not necessarily; you can absolutely send a request in, but if/when I get to it is up to fate lol

has max ever shown yakko to goofy? :0

Yakko's been over to the Goof's house many times! I like to think they grew up knowing each other by proxy through bugs/daffy being close to (or at least having connections to) the fab five mickey/donald/goofy etc. I think the younger Max from Goof Troop era would've genuinely had a lot of fun being a good playmate for the warner kids. They all loved getting into mischief and coming up with schemes.

Hello are there any lesser known yax au’s that you wish got more love?

I personally have an Alice in Wonderland au where I throw Max in a dress lol I love imagining it as if it were a crossover episode of Animaniacs with Goof Troop (but with high school age Max from Goofy Movie).

The Warners would each have multiple roles, and I might include the "anime" design of Yakko from the reboot to be the Mad Hatter. Wakko would be the Cheshire Cat, and Dot would absolutely be the Queen of Hearts. They would torment Max so wonderfully lol

Have you SEEN Max in Goof Troop? Boy was a walking hazard just like the Warners lol

Max has always been mischievous. I don’t want people to forget that hehe

But he’s also a Disney kid at heart and I’ll never let people forget that either. Boy is just a huge sap at the end of the day.
