When V and Garrett find a teenage boy passed out among the city ruins, they realize after he wakes that he is not as human as he appears to be. The pair are going to need help with him, which means a trip to Fortuna and all the toil and trouble that inevitably comes with it. [M/M, M/F, Gen, rated M] [Chapters: 4/?] [Chapter 5 progress: 10%]

First-drafts stage: I Won’t Break // (DMC x Death Stranding multi-chapter fic.) Plot adjacent to game’s. V is a Fragile Express porter, struggling with worsening DOOMS and a common foe as the sixth extinction looms, all the while unwittingly paving the way for a well-known porter to reconnect the nation and save mankind. Completed: Ode to Innocence // (Pre-DMC5 multi-chapter origin story fic.)  A look at V's younger years and the events that cover adolescence to adulthood, and how these events take him from meek little boy to capable warlock and devil hunter. [Gen, rated M] [Chapters: 16/16]

Soooo it's been eight months, and I'm really sorry about leaving without saying a word. Honestly, I got hit with bad burnout when I posted the last chapter of The Witching Hour and it's been tough shaking it. I've never really experienced it that badly before, so I'm still out of sorts. Writing has been tough, and I want to do it, but I hesitate so much now, I can't focus, and I feel that my style has suffered as well.

I've been chipping away at some things here and there, but I can't guess at all when I'll return to form. That said, the burnout happened in the middle of writing chapter 16 of TWH, and it's my (perhaps deluded) hope that finally getting it out of my system will help my writing flow again. I don't know, I just hope that's the case; and I'm trying to get 16 done now, which I think it's close to being.

Hopefully, I'll post it soon. It won't be too long a chapter but I need to get rid of it tbh. That's just kinda how I feel about it now. :\ But, yeah, I'm still here. I've not given up yet! Just Going Through It for the time being. Thanks for still being here to read this lol kagnkasfhg
