I'm so sorry if I'm replying to this very late, I haven't been on Tumblr at all in the past months. But to answer your question, for Midoriya, in all honesty, it's his almost unbreakable mental strength. Bakugo is the exact same and that's why they compliment eachother so well, growing up with All Might as their idol must of built a ridiculous amount of determination within the two.

And with the second question, I made a post previously calling them like yin and yang and that's my favourite way to explain how I see their dynamic. Two seemly complete opposite who rely on eachother so heavily.
