One of the best feelings ever is recommending a book to a friend that you’re obsessed with. And then they read it. And then THEY are obsessed with it and you don’t shut up about it ever <3

Vice versa as well because obsessing over media with a friend is always a great time

I love love love how H.G. Parry writes fmcs, especially how *real* they are. Both Biddy and Clover are so intelligent, clever, and kind, but they also have their flaws which we can totally understand. Most especially I like how both stories don’t kill their idealism although they certainly could have. They still both fight for a better world. I think especially as we see some reduction of women in media it’s nice to read books like these.
