She was also president of the choir and while there, she wrote the song “Listen to the Rain”, which was performed by the Pulaski Academy mixed choir. ♦ Amy is a spokesperson and support some social foundations or movements dedicated to several campaigns, such as ‘Out of the Shadows’ (Epilepsy Foundation), ‘To Write Love in Her Arms’ (a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide) or Restore Freedom (campaign against sex trafficking).
Personal life: Amy is married to long time friend, Josh Hartzler, who is a therapist. ‘Bring Me to Life’ and ‘Good Enough’ were inspired by him. They have a son since 2014.
