Curiosities: ♦ In high school, Amy was active in choir and drama. She was also president of the choir and while there, she wrote the song “Listen to the Rain”, which was performed by the Pulaski Academy mixed choir. ♦ Amy is a spokesperson and support some social foundations or movements dedicated to several campaigns, such as ‘Out of the Shadows’ (Epilepsy Foundation), ‘To Write Love in Her Arms’ (a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide) or Restore Freedom (campaign against sex trafficking).

Personal life: Amy is married to long time friend, Josh Hartzler, who is a therapist. ‘Bring Me to Life’ and ‘Good Enough’ were inspired by him. They have a son since 2014.
