Today I got interviewed, hired, and then given a dollar raise and a better store location because the interviewer “liked my attitude”

question for the men & the men only:

who EXPLICITLY taught you what being a romantic partner/husband looks like? and what did they say? not what did you watch, see, try to emulate or ignore? what was SAID to you about your responsibility and actions in a romantic relationship/marriage?

there are a million and one books, articles, sermons, posts, etc., on what women need to do in order to "keep a man" with about 5 more getting ready to published and i need to know what responsibility men are taught in regards to "keeping a woman?"
