the craziest thing about this episode is. buck desperately searching for the missing ingredient in snickerdoodles, and as almost everyone who has baked snickerdoodles before has posted, cream of tartar is a MUST ADD ingredient to the recipe. and so it's like, this ingredient should be right in front of your eyes. but! buck didn't default to google or something, he wanted to search through the spice cabinet and work it out himself, he wanted to figure it out, of course, but he wanted to use his time baking as a time to stay connected to bobby. mind you, he is also speaking about searching for this missing ingredient (WHICH EVERYONE KNOWS IS USUALLY 'LOVE' WHEN ATTEMPTING FAMILY RECIPES) while wearing a sweatshirt with a little heart on his chest. and then. cue eddie's storyline. he is seeking something missing from his life. he is trying to find it in religion, in something that bobby connected to and he can't really understand why. he feels it, this missing piece of himself, and abuela finally tells him, god is Love. and why does he have to find that Love in mass? Perhaps it's right in front of him. Maybe it's the obvious choice. And then. She presses her hand to his chest, right above his heart. Oh boy. Ohhhhhh god. You guys

its such a shame buck isn't british because i know he'd looove bonfire night. going into schools to talk to the kids about fire safety, lighting all their sparklers and getting to set the bonfire, getting to take the kids to the fireworks and putting them on his shoulders.
