I’m so deeply affected by Artemis II and the mission. I cannot stress this enough. Between the first Black man and the first woman on a moon mission, to them being the farthest any human has been from earth, to the pieces of Columbia and Challenger on the capsule.

I wish everyone could experience the humility of the moment you are in space and look back at earth. To see our blue marble moment in our own eyes.

Because I would want to scream at everyone to shut up and say just look!

This is it. Us. All of us. This is it. Look at the black around us. We are all we have. So act like it. Be kind. Think. Be considerate. Care. Vote like it. Vote for humanity. Fuck your money. Getting diagnosed with PCOS in your early 30’s is truly such a mind fuck. Like I’m so glad I know what’s happening now. But I look back and things make so much more sense.

And as I treat my PCOS, I’m finding that little tweaks to my diet with proper treatment I’m slimming down without really even trying. When before I had to restrict to 1200 calories to even get a little weight loss. My mood has stabilized my energy has improved. I’m so glad but wtf would my life look like without my new doc who diagnosed me?

Why did I fall ass backwards into this??

Finally got a diagnosis that literally helps make the last 15 years make sense. Now I have to internalize this info and try to live my life. My self hatred of my body finally makes sense.

I have pcos. No wonder I’ve slowly fought and lost against my body is so many aspects. Idk I just wish I had known sooner so I didn’t have such a fight to contend with
