you're not raising them without stereotypes, you're teaching them femininity is bad. tell both boys and girls stories of princesses, and tell them both other stories too. and if anyone's favorites are the stories of princesses, tell them more stories about princesses. it is not that complicated.

There's no such thing as raising a kid with the complete absence of stereotypes. The existence of stereotypes and the idea of stereotypes will arise at some point, be it school, friends, strangers. One way to counter their existence is to embrace and reinforce the fact that they do exist, but don't have always have to be followed, and that's okay!
