“Are you sure you wanna try that?” the girl said with a chuckled. “I don’t know if that’s a good idea”

“I’d kind of like to say yes, but I really don’t have that mindset.” He laughed.

She giggled. “I was just joking, Harry”

He smiled, “That’s why I do it. To gain trust.” He joked, before nodding.

She laughed softly. “Oh, I knew it. It was all a plan.”

“You don’t seem so quiet right now?” He offered with a broad smile. Harry liked to think of himself as friends with everyone. He’d always been fairly outgoing, albeit not particularly loud himself.

“That’s-that’s because you protected me from a beetle. That makes you want to-to talk” she spoke softly and chuckled a bit. Usually, Sophie was a bit more quiet but as time had passed she have learned not to. She was starting to be more comfortabl on her own skin.

“It does. I kind of have the same way of thinking.” She shrugged with a smile. “So…are you new around here? I’m not sure if I have seen you before”

“Not new, no.” He shook his head, “I’m probably not the loudest guy in the world though.”

“Don’t worry about that. I’m...I’m as quiet as a mouse. I just...well, I haven’t been around enough to meet new people, you see?”

“Yeah. Because as childish as it is, it’s something I like about myself. So I’m proud to say it out loud. Make sense?” Harry half smiled, “Likewise.”

“It does. I kind of have the same way of thinking.” She shrugged with a smile. “So...are you new around here? I’m not sure if I have seen you before”

“I knew before. But I think I’m just saying that for my benefit, so you can disregard it.” He smiled, “I’m Harry.”

“For your benefit?” she said tilting her head as the beetle flew away from her hand. “Nice to meet you, Harry”

“I agree, but it’s pretty uncommon to find people who agree.”

“Oh, I know. But I know that is true.. and now you know too and...I believe that’s enough. If that makes any sense at all” she shook he rhead and chuckled a bit. “I’m Sophie, by the way.”
