kinda need someone to make a 6 hour long breakdown of Neil Tennant x Chris Lowe cause like I believe it but petheads are expert level documenters and analysts and I am not so it feels like I'm on the outside looking in

#i've been in this fandom and ship for a whole decade and let me tell you something #the lore runs DEEP #there's some stuff that you just had to be there because it's either lost media or not publicly available anymore #but as a summary: a lot of older fans actually doubt they met the way they say they did and think it was while cruising but idk #neil was deep in the closet and had recently gotten out of his last straight relationship so personally i doubt it happened like that #neil said chris helped him discover his sexuality but *how* did he help we don't know bc he has never said #chris had a long time partner by the end of the 80s and early 90s and neil had a situationship with a guy before actually was released #and then dated someone early 90s until they broke up and chris' partner passed away so sorry to all the 80s shippers but nothing happened #neil and chris lived together after that and couple of months later neil started dating again and chris was seen with flings until late 90s #neil had an awful relationship before release and apparently chris too and went to live together for years at neil's durham place #neil had his last known partner between fundamental and yes and since 2010 they live together in berlin for around 3 months every year #they haven't been seen with any partners or flings since that year and neil sold his durham home to move to kent where chris lives #it's a well known fact that their families are incredibly close and go to parties and weddings and stuff together #there's a lot of recent stuff i'm skipping and a lot of stuff i have found by being nosy and that is extremely sus that i won't share #but yeah that's the summary of the summary #my partner in crime aka sarah can add more stuff if she wants to

In a strict, traditional, biological sense…very strict I must reiterate…the two of them producing children could be seen as absurd. However…if we treated the act of creating art as the same as creating any other life..then…well…they have been been bleeping like rabbits for the last 4.4 decades. Cheers to them!
