My baby girl was born in displacement without a warm bed or a safe home, as she was transferred to more than 10 places (tents, shelter schools, relatives' homes, hospitals, etc.) and the displacement is still ongoing until this moment!!

We haven't been making any progress for 6+ months funding the dental surgery I need, and its reaching a breaking point with my physical health. The past few days we have made some progress but very little considering the need. My roomate and I are trans, disabled, and homeless, for context. last year i filed for asylum on the mistaken impression that it would get me healthcare among other things. this system is built so everyone who enters it fails or dies. it's as bad as you've heard.

all of the work the government should be doing is outsourced to a single NGO which is made of like 10 people and entirely reliant on private donors. so no it isn't helping me get the medical tests i need and has no intentions of changing that.

i'm not allowed to work until possibly as late as mid-2026, and the cost of living in my city is increasing rapidly due to the local economy revolving around airbnb and tourism scams.

perhaps needless to say, i'm working hard in the coming months to keep my options open as i explore what to do next because i know i'm making important changes soon.
