Inojin is literally the only character that, instead of developing, I feel like he's retreating. I mean we've seen him use the sealing techinques, use his tanto, draw kinda big creatures with explosive tags. He was skilled enough to sense Kakashi and he was the ONLY that sensed the criminal. His Mind Transfer Jutsu was strong enough to take control of Ino. We also saw that he was the only one who managed to revive a fish using medical ninjutsu. However, in each fight it turns out that he can do nothing and draws little birds. I do not understand this. I like Houki, but if all Inojin's skills had been shown, he would have won. For another time, he was used to show someone else's potential. Later, SP forgets about his existence again. There have been so many missions where Inojin should have been because of his medical and sensory skills, since there weren't any people on the squad using such techniques. Moreover, non-original author characters and filler characters get more screentime than he does. Another thing is that Inojin is the son of Sai and Ino, and it turns out that he doesn't have any deeper relationships with Sarada and Sakura or Naruto, Yamato or Kakashi. It does not make sense. I would also like to point out that there is still no information about his chakra element. It was mentioned that every ninja has it, so why not Inojin? I have been waiting for his development for many years, and in return I only get his deterioration.
