Despite the stunning stained glass archway that lay before him, Solas found himself unable to tear his gaze away from Ellana. She stood draped in the green cloak he had gifted her in Haven, an eyebrow raised with questions of his presence, and the copper of her hair draping down her back. She truly was a sight to behold, and he stood in awe as the quiet sunset of Skyhold left a bright light behind her, igniting her silhouette.
“Can I help you, Solas?”
Her voice brought him back momentarily, though his mind lingered upon the way she said his name. His traitorous heart fluttered, and despite his best attempts to remain nonchalant, he found his lips tugging into an absent grin.
“I would hope so, my lady Herald.”
