Okay, so this isn’t Hetalia related, but since this is a game dev blog and admin is always developing, thought I’d throw this out there -- anyone interested in a Hamilton mobile game? Hamilmobile? Hamobile? whatever.  This was a simple project I set out to create myself (admittedly inspired by computer science class requirements tho lol), and ended up going way ahead of myself. And pls don’t tell me about how inaccurate this scene is, but I couldn’t really think of anything short and sweet for an assignment that didn’t involve the Boston Tea Party. You know Alex would’ve joined in on that shit, though.

BACK TO THE MAIN TOPIC. I’d LIKE to create a sort of sidescroller thing for Hamilton. Interactive game, with lots of other characters like Angelica and Jefferson and Eliza, and all custom art (the tea crate, the arrows, the clouds and bg -- that’s all by me!). I think it’d be fun to make something free or really heckin’ cheap for Hamilton fans like me! And it’d give me a hell of a good practising time at coding/writing for sidescroller-type games, too!

What you guys think? “Hamobile” something interesting you’d like to see?

How do you guys feel about weekly or biweekly screenshots up until the Angeltalia demo is released? No spoilers in screenshots, of course -- just to get a feel of the world and of the characters! Let us know your opinions!

Heeey my dude! Thanks for the good question!

So, here’s the short of what happened: about 10 months into Angeltalia, I accidentally deleted all my game files. So, all my projects and mini-projects basically went poof. BUT luckily I have a backup for Insanitalia from summer of last year – what this means that I have something decent to work off of, but at the same time it also gives me a lot of room to revamp the whole game and make the story better without having to build it from the ground up! I’m not as fidgety about changing a lot of the game, because now that I lost quite a bit of it, I’m open to doing that because I have less of the work to lose by undoing some bad plot threads. 

I’ll be honest in that I’m not currently satisfied with what Insanitalia is. I think it had a lot of potential, and it didn’t fulfill its potential in my earlier years when I hardly knew how to use RPG Maker, how to make good maps, or how to even make a good game.

So, Insanitalia is one of the games that is up for my “revamped in 2017″ list. I’ll likely post the huge demo of Angeltalia first, since that’s my main project/masterpiece, and then Insanitalia will be remade for summer of 2017!

Sorry it’s been so long – I know this page is called “insanitalia” and that there should be more of it, but I mainly refer to the folks who worked on games as “the Insanitalia team”, since that’s how we all started out working together, mostly. But Insanitalia has expanded far beyond just Insanitalia now, if that makes any sense!

But yeah, TLDR; Insanitalia is definitely not abandoned! I’m just waiting for a time where I can dedicate the time to it that it deserves from me.

What’s this? A new Hetagame looming in the horizon? What could possibly be in store for our beloved characters this time?? It was a blast and an honor to make this promotional poster! I had so much fun with it, and all the little details are so wonderful! Art Dump 2: BATE and Switch

SO THERE’S A THING COMING OUT AND I’M EXCITED. My buddies Kit and Naoto are making an Angeltalia AU game, set during the final days prior to the rapture and it’s got a whole lot of biblical research crammed into it. I’m PUMPED. The old man’s in on it whose pride was his downfall, as well as @tangentially-displaced as one of his two little imp boys. LOOK AT THAT COCKY SON OF A BITCH. I had an itch to draw the young prince again, and Kit needed a front-and-back for the bust artists. He’s just so fun to draw, I can’t help myself.

The OTHER thing that’s coming out is one of my own projects, Sleeping Beau. It took me forever to get everything ready (forking choice paths with unique dialog for each IS REALLY FUCKING HARD TO KEEP TRACK OF JFC-), BUT I’M ALMOST FINISHED WITH IT. It’s a stylized Sleeping Beauty, mixing and matching different versions of the fairy tale, with some added twists and character development to keep things interesting. Looking forward to its release date sometime this early summer!

Yes, it is us, we are the trash making the Angeltalia AU game. And we are blessed with Lubo’s great concept art and the prideful old (not so old) man in the actual game ;3c Look forward to it, dudes and dudettes!

(Also you guys, keep an eye out for Sleeping Beau because it’s gonna be a hella great game. If you like Hetalia fangames, this is a must-play. I’ve been keeping an eye on it myself. Hype!)

COMING SOON!

A new RPG Maker game. Rookie attorney Kiku Honda is forced to take a stand in court when Yong Soo Im, the "King of Attorneys", is accused of murder. What follows is a series of events most unexpected.

... And by soon I mean in several months. I've been planning this for ages, starting with Naoto as my co-writer, and I'm very happy to be announcing that this is going to happen after so long of not doing anything for it! Hope you guys will enjoy this project when we're able to release the demo and more!

Are you guys posting Episode 1 anytime soon? It's been like a year and I'm honestly pretty bummed out rn since you haven't done anything recently. Are you all dead or what?

I am actually very happy you asked this. We are not dead, we’ve just been a little behind schedule. And by a little, I mean a lot.

We’ve lost people left and right, and a lot of our members are students. And just recently, my co-writer/co-founder of the project, Naoto, just left us, which is a pretty devastating blow to the team. 

I understand that we keep giving out release dates, but don’t follow them. This is all with good reason.

I promise, though, that we will definitely finish the project no matter how long it takes. We owe that much to everyone, at least. And we’ll work to make the finished product all the better for that.

Holy shit, I have not seen this. This is gorgeous. His expression just hits me in my heart because this expression is so appropriate in the future of the game’s story.
