You entered one of the rooms. It was filled with blinking lights, softly beeping machinery, and in the middle, a cube. The Tesseract shone brightly as it sat, ever so patient, upon the pedestal. Equipment was hooked up to the cube to check the levels of radiation or... anything else, really. Security cameras watched the cube for outside activity such as intruders- one may consider you that. Or they might not.
