The Sign of Three: The Wisteria of Goldney Hall

Notice: This meta is about the wedding reception in BBC Sherlock’s The Sign of Three. Specifically, I read heavily into the meaning of the murals of wisteria in terms of tjlc and rant about it for fun. So run away if that isn’t your thing. I wrote in a reblog about the meaning of wisteria already but I thought I’d redo it in a meta of my own with picture evidence. If you already read what I said before, I do expand on it. I basically anthropomorphize some green lines for about three pages. It is more awesome than it sounds! Woo!

The wedding reception was filmed at Goldney Hall Orangery in Bristol. This is what the inside of the Orangery normally looks like: 

And this is what it normally looks like on the outside:

That is the outside, in the summer, covered in beautiful blooming wisteria.
