Looking for a female warrior/singer for melancholic doom goth band... (downtown)
Hallo,
The Finnish and Norwegians have had it too easy. It's time to give them some real Great White North competition!!!
Looking for sad, beautiful gothic lady warrior who's ready to put down her sword and grab on the mic to front a melancholic/melodic/goth/doom/metal band. Think Perfect Circle or Tool with female vocals and heavier guitars, but with a much more Type O Negative/Draconian atmosphere.
Me: I'm a bassist, downtown, 34 of age, bottom bottom end...real bottom end (low as a dinosaur's grave). Been playing various styles on bass for many years, but now wants to focus on originals with this project. I have my gear. I don't have a space but that's easy to arrange. I do have a drummer, a heavy hitter who's ready to jump in (been collaborating with him on many projects, so camaraderie on his side is guaranteed!). Also have a guitarist who can make those strings cry like rain. Potentially he might be interested. If not, we go look for another. Yes, I do have songs. Not recorded, just songs, waiting for the right voice to bring them out into the dark.
Plan: we meet, we chat, we establish common musical ground, we start practicing as a band while writing together as a team. I know what I'm looking for as my musical partner, and I'll know it better when I see those endless dark forests looking back at me from your crazy gorgy eyes.
Ready to make some melodic burden-heavy noise? Make those gig places bleed? Go to Europe together where darkness roams? Hit me back and let's meet, my Deutsche Warwicks are ready to pain...
