im going through a little bit of art block nowadays, but that one chillingdevotion fanart ive made gives me hope. Despite seeing all the mistakes and things i could fix in it, it was made out of pure love to see an idea executed.

Many times I have stewed over an idea to make it perfect, but that has never resulted in me actually *making* it. When I got the idea for that fanart, I just jumped right in.

i won't say NOBODY had 'satyrs have periods' on their bingo cards. I'll just say that it wasn't on mine... setting up the moon as a masculine presence over Deltritus was truly some masterful setup though. my god.

certainly an intriguing and deliberate choice that Swiss' brutal sexist ribbing from AA is followed up with the decision to don his GRILLZ, implicitly associating him with the archetypal white - or indeed Asian! - man who affects blackness in order to supplement his masculinity

being able to make something longform comes with accepting that you are not going to be happy with a lot of what you make initially… it will grow on you, you will forget the original expectations. or you will learn and remake it. just forgive it because at least it exists and allows itself to be prodded in an actual capacity now

oh my god im stupid. Obviously Cooperation+Trust and Defiance+Distrust are better fits. I mean tbf Love and hostility are good fits for whatever is going on with the flower and the knife, but ig i wanna sound coool or something...

despite how possessive Jim is it confuses me that he mentions showing you back to your cabin. Is that something thats possible or is he lying to placate you cus he knows it isnt possible? Also im a bit curious if there'll be any PC lore... I know its meant to be a sorta blank slate character for you to project onto, but I wouldnt mind if there was. also during the puzzle section he says "its better if things stay lost" which im guessing refers to the flower and the knife. Which we know represents Affection or Hostility. But he very much wants to romance you lol. Im guessing to help you two survive these voices you need to not romance him or be hostile towards him. I always thought the bunny+flower and wolf+knife was the typical pairings, and that the fox was sorta the grey zone that doesnt conform to any of these. You still end up getting the flower or the knife. Maybe its supposed to be like its kinda like giving into these urges (love/hate) no matter how small? And I wouldnt mind that tbh id like it. Lock me in a cabin with Jim and im either kissing that yearning boy or punching that secretive creep (both jim. ) But id imagine jim saying "its better if some things are lost" as a double meaning for like it feels safer if you dont get too close. Altho when you choose to lean into his touch he blushes a little, which I used to think of as romantic but now that I think of it hes prob like crushing hard lol

And what if I told you I also fell into those urges as well. Fed myself a little. I dont think hostility is a urge i think its more like doing anything you can to survive.
