k but imagine Rocky wanting to learn about how humans became the apex predators of their planet so he has Grace “hunt” him in the biodome as an experiment and during it he thinks Grace isn’t trying or taking it seriously which is bad bad bad because this is for research purposes

only for Rocky to get more and more tired as the experiment goes on just to realize that Grace isn’t which makes him panic so he puts as much distance as he can between them and finds a (hopefully) safe spot to sleep and when he wakes up the human is crouching over him like “got youuu” and Rocky has never shrieked so damn loud before in his life

She makes multiple gatherings of political and scientific World leaders clap for him, that's goofy not Mysterious.

Look I'm sorry but her TONE when she days "That's not the only reason" like okay *I* caught that Signal, Eva. Am I crazy? Does that not sound like she's hitting on him? Just? In front of EVERYONE (I know logically that's not the intention of the line or delivery outside canon, but idk I just can't hear it any other way)

Meanwhile she's clutching two venti coffee and going "I need both🥺" in the most babygirl voice you've ever heard, holding tight like she thinks he might actually take one

"Whemp whemp" and he thinks she's mysterious (I’ve heard people say she did that to reassure Ryland for his "whoomp, there it is," and maybe yeah, and maybe shes just like that. Either way "whemp whemp" are not the words of a "Mestewious Woman!!!"

She just sniffs the Earth Hacky Sack for no reason, and then STEALS IT, and he thinks she's mysterious.

The way she argues with him like "say it to the class" and then going "that's why they're going to Venus- is what... Dr. Grace is trying to say..." and not actually explaining either and he thinks she's mysterious

She sings Harry Styles at Karaoke night and he thinks she's mysterious.

in conversation about white people who go to Japan and expect their knowledge of anime to culturally carry them, I was once posed with “it’s like if there was a Japanese guy who was obsessed with spongebob and came over here and thought he could get by just communicating in spongebob quotes.” This is a false equivalence because if such a man existed we would crown him king.
