If The Salt Dilemma exists (I can't find anything about it online other than your blog and a Reddit post), I'm pretty sure it has no chance of inspiring OMORI or Deltarune given its lack of accessibility.

Deltarune was inspired by a lot of obscure niche media, and the coincidences are too much for me to write off.

Couldn't you rip TSD and upload it to the internet archive?

If the DvD is coming from the library wouldn't that make it illegal to rip? I'm worried about copyright laws. I was hoping there'd be someone out there who has access to a version of it that was legal to upload online. I really don't want to go to jail over my favorite movie.
