sorry i took so long to get back to you! i saw this and fell asleep right after, and then my phone died. whoops. i've never played hunter's moon myself, so i asked some other horn players. they said it's pretty fun and not too hard, so you should be good as long as you enjoy playing it.

day 5 without my horn (i’m traveling and forgot my mouthpiece, too). my lips feel like floppiness and guilt. i woke up in the middle of the night thinking i forgot to practise. sometimes i make strange noises in public. i keep searching “french horn” on google images longingly. kopprasch haunts me wherever i go. my excess spit is dribbling out of my mouth. help me. bring my child back to me.

i'm helping out at my choir over the summer. while i was there, someone called the office. i knew it wasn't a normal call because the lady working there didn't say her while "[choir] office, this is [name]," etc. thing, just "hello." only hearing one end, it sounded like:

"hello"

"what did you do?"

"okay just press control-x and then control-v it into the other column"

"okay, bye"

i asked her what that was about (everyone's pretty chill at my choir, and it didn't seem like anything super important). she said "sometimes mr. [director] needs moral support, so he calls the office."

idk i guess it's nice to have someone you can always call for moral support when you. mess up an excel sheet?

I’m about to start duel enrollment this fall (we are the same age whattttt) but I also look like I’m 12. Do college kids just expect you to be the same age as them so they don’t really question you? Im a little worried about it

based off of how I talk I think people assume I’m not in high school. ultimately it doesn’t matter. at college you can’t really tell the difference between an 18 and a 30 year old unless the person lacks maturity

this previous year i was a freshman in high school and everyone in my college classes thought i was 20ish (about 5-10% figured i was probably in high school, but even those people thought i was a junior or a senior)

there was this one 22-year-old lady who hit on me but didn't realise i was 14. i'm. really glad she backed off immediately.
