Moon Talk The moon in the sky spoke to the moon in the river. The first moon was lonely and asked the second moon to climb into the sky. "1 don’t have anyone to tell my secrets to,” he said. “The universe is too busy. I overlook everything without getting involved. I need a friend.” The moon in the river did not reply. At last the first moon said, “Fine, I will come down since you cannot come up. Anyway, it is always easier to fall than to rise.” So the moon jumped into the river and was swept away in the gushing current. Only in the darkness did it discover the truth.
