We are so proud that we finished this project. It's been exactly a year!!!!

For this week we went to the hospital to blood donate but it was closed, so we are going next week. We finished what we didn't do well.. And we baked a cake to celebrate a year that was filled with accomplishments, we learned a lot from 48 different projects. 

We learned crafts, baking, volunteering, painting, dealing with children, started a new language, meditated, juggling.. and much more!!

We are so proud that we finished what we started and we took it seriously.

Our journey is not over it's just the beginning, we will always have new roads to cross...

Random Acts of Kindness...

Nearly there, only a week to go!! We're so proud of how far we got! 

So for this week, we went with random acts of kindness, a theme which we'll follow up to next week. We decided to make letters, for our family. Anonymous letters, telling them how great they are. We're planning and making more things...

We also went to a career exhibition kind of event this weekend, we enjoyed it very much. We discussed different issues more than actual careers, nevertheless it was nice, and we saw people that really care, which is always inspiring!

Watercoloring was this week's project. I tried to learn how to water color from youtube and as a starter it didn't look bad. :p

It was so fun mixing colors and coloring randomly!

We've been wanting to try this for a long time as one of our weekly project. But we had to buy some of the equipment and we didn't have time to do that.

So we are in vacation now and thought that it would be the perfect time to try this, unfortunately one of us is not in town so the other tried it.

It was hard taking out the inside of the bulb, and after two hours of trying this was the outcome! So proud!!! 

I wanted to put a plant in it but I couldn't buy one.

A friend's birthday.

This week was our friend's birthday who moved to America.

so we decided to make a video wishing her a happy birthday and wishing her a good luck in her life.

It was so awkward video recording ourselves, we recorded many times until we were satisfied with one!

In our religion "Islam" If you read those prayers in the morning god will protect you from all kind of harmful things. Each prayer has a meaning and has it's own benefit on the person who reads it. 

Our project this week was to make bookmarks, not any usual bookmark. Bookmarks that has those prayers written on. We'll give some to our family, friends and random people.

Take a break, have a beauty day!

This week we decided to do something for ourselves, to refuel our energy. So, we decided to have a beauty day, basically we just did somethings at home to take care of ourselves. We bought the spa in!

For this week we went to a kid's school and helped around.

We read them a story, played with them and helped them paint. They were so happy and we learned how to teach them good manners, and also how to control them.

Kids, kids, & more kids!

This week we helped as volunteer teachers in a kids club. The club is only open once a week, and it belongs to a charity, so all fees are used for better purposes. It's a fun experience, very exhausting, but fun!

If a charity around you is looking for a way to raise money, having a kids' club is a very creative idea. They could recruit volunteers to save money, and have the club in their headquarters, if it has enough space.

We made this small paper clutch. It looks soo interesting! It is also fun to make!

Our goal this week was to de-clutter and reorganize our rooms, and create an inspiring theme. 

We did many different things, including donating clothes to charity, hanging some of our previous art projects, getting rid of anything we didn't want...

The rooms are more appealing now, they each became an inspiring space for us to spend our time in.

Week 37: A documentary.

This week we made a documentary and we'll participate with it in a competition in our university.

The documentary is about stereotyping, we've worked on it the whole week and the out come is not bad.

We decided to take a picture everyday for 7 days.

each day has a theme, those are what we picked.

One of us finished 2 days, and we'll continue next week.

Week 35.

We feel so bad of not doing a project this week.

We were so busy with our finals we couldn't think of anything to do!!

So we put money in the money box we made in week5.

"Each time we don't do something or fail in any project we double the money put"

We had finals this week and the next week as well.

So we decided to do something that will keep our minds creative.

Since our finals are starting, we both thought that it would be fit to design a studying zone in our rooms. We tried making them creative, and away from all the distractions. Up to now, we both really enjoy studying in them! It's a fun project that can really come in handy. You can make the place as creative as you want, which will hopefully encourage you to study!
