They were women in a world ruled by men after all. Their kingdoms were resisting invasion, none of them wanting to be reduced as a Roman province. Egypt would never kneel before Rome, never. Caesar was her ally ( and more than that ) and as long as he lived she had nothing to fear. Kleopatra perfectly understood the Queen of Sparta, for she was also Greek and did not wish to see her culture disappear.

❛ Unfortunately, he is not here. I fear he has another campaign to lead. However I am here, and perhaps an alliance between our beloved kingdoms could be gainful for us both. ❜

It’s rare to find support. Queens support one another for they understand being in a position of power reserved for men, never mind they were the rightful heirs to say thrones. Sparta was her home, it had never been Menelaus, for the throne was her family’s and it will remain so. But support is fragile as is alliances with no foundation. “Then I pray the Gods for a successful campaign.” Ares will lead the Roman to a successful victory, and in that way, a good mood to deal with Helen’s troubles.

For now, she will handle those with the Egyptian queen. “We offer my Spartan men, stronger than any greek or roman you will ever face.” Sparta had a reputation, men fighting and women as strong as them for only real women give birth to spartan men. “My daughter Hermione is of age. I believe it is time for her to find a husband.”
