Due to events leading up to this point the mod team has decided to cancel the event. We apologies for such short notice, however we as a consensus have agreed that this is the best course of action. Again, we apologies for the short notice but the event will be cancelled.
“H… he does? Must be hard for everyone to keep order then…” She pouted, shaking her head, before having a thought
“Wait… so if he lets people do whatever he wants, that means he could j-just let us leave… right?” She asked sheepishly, tilting her head, her smile and energy from having a laugh at the king’s expense never wavering too much.
“Th… those are really bad names, they’re not even cool…!” The girl couldn’t help but laugh incredulously a bit more. “Least Snowdin is a pun…” Pun town names were better, before blinking.
“A-ah, of course there’s guards…” Now her expression softened a bit in worry as she looked down. “Maybe I can help you figure out a plan for that later…” She wanted to visit all of the Underground, presumably for a way out, and just to see everything before leaving, but Hotland being guarded would definitely make things a bit harder…
With a nod of her own, the Human girl followed the other carefully, being sure to not wander off and get lost.
“I-I see, that’s interesting… so the Monsters get some of our garbage…? I wonder if there’s any trash to us that’s a treasure to them…” After all, maybe some of the things she’d been forced to throw out every now and then eventually made it here… “Do you have a TV to watch and play them on though…?”
“It also helps a lot...a couple Monsters have figured out I’m human, but they’re choosing to ignore that...as for leaving...mmph. There’s one small issue with that...the entire Underground is sealed under a barrier. Nothing can pass though it from this side of it...except in two situations.”
She thought about it for a few moments, drawing upon her own experiences and knowledge gleamed so far. She had wisened to the nature of the Underground, and was happy to share what she could.
“If a being had both a Human Soul, and a Monster Soul at once, they could walk though it, as if it wasn’t there at all. And according to some myths my sister has told me about, should a Monster possess seven or more Human Souls at once, they could just flat out destroy the barrier, and everyone could just leave...which leads to the real problem.”
Continuing to lead her friend though the caverns, the air was now starting to get chilled to it, as they drew closer and closer to their destination.
“King Asgore has six, supposedly. One more, and he would be able to break the barrier, but...he’s also declared war on humanity and honestly, it sounds like he’d be ‘completely invincible’ with seven. My group of friends have been trying to figure out a way to get close enough to assess the situation more...maybe another way out exists...anyways, onto happier subjects!”
She shuffles her sack of goodies a bit, before bringing it around and opening it up. There’s various board games and other stuff within...books, mostly.
“I’ve heard there’s some Monsters that really adore Human stuff...I’ve met a few here and there...and I do have a TV! It was not easy to get home at all, but worth it...!”
She kept going on for a little while, it was a little clear she had trouble finding a way to stop once she started going…! The girl would certainly appreciate her compatriot’s patience, for sure!
“This place has a king…? W-well, I’m glad that means there’s order here, f-from what I heard I thought it’d be a lawless wasteland…!” Like those movies her cousins were always watching…
[ * You take note of the other parts of the Underground… it’ll certainly help later! ]
“Ah-… ahaha, wow, the King really isn’t good at naming things…!” She let out a genuine giggle, a small smile forming across her face. “I hope I can visit those places without worry soon…” She said, nodding her head…
Before her face beamed at the possibility of seeing amphibians, that certainly wasn’t terrible, if she had any stress, seeing a small green friend would be sure to banish her anxiety!
And as if on queue, Alexis offered to travel with her, the girl began nodding vigorously. Though she wasn’t too good at interacting with people… she’d certainly feel safer around someone else! “I-I would like, yeah!“ She happily said.
“Y-you seem to know the way around here easily, so you should lead i s’ppose…!”
“Well, from what I heard the King just sort of...lets people do whatever, it sounds like.”
It seemed Alexis was able to keep up just fine in the conversation, letting out a giggle of her own a few moments after her new friend did. Friendship certainly had its way to take the edge off in a hurry.
“Yeah, his naming is...awful. Home, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, New Home...but I guess it makes it really easy to guess what’s at those spots based on their names! As for visiting Hotland...mmph. The way’s guarded sometimes and I haven’t figured out the timing to get past.”
The ballerina did seem nervous for a few moments, but soon resumed her cheerful look. Upon the comment of knowing her way around, she nodded, walking along.
“I come this way quite a bit. Further in is a garbage pile that, for some reason, has a lot of stuff from the surface. Most of it is junk, but I find some goodies there from time to time, like books, games, sometimes movies and TV shows, too.”
Somehow, some way… a letter has come your muse’s way. No one can say for sure how they ended up with it on them. It appears to have just appeared there in a blink of an eye. Strange, to say the least - especially the red seal that covers the letter. Parchment paper - not just a letter, seems to be what you hold. Drops of ink are scattered along the top of the paper, before the words actually start in a prim and proper handwriting.
“Salutations. If you have received this letter, you are one of the children that a mage from our team have made great leaps in by contacting! We’re very excited to be able to reach to you - after all, it is not on every occasion that you’re able to both reach out to people not only across space, and time. Leaps and bounds for red mages within our community - but that is no concern now.
Now, we as a small council of mages and monsters wish to welcome you to Trinity with open arms and show you around town. There’s the castle, the city, the port… and not to mention we’ll be having our annual Sunlight Faire at this time of year. I’m sure you kids will enjoy it - as we both seek to teach you things and perhaps learn a thing or two from you as you explore.
Though we don’t recommend wandering into Wampus Woods or the surrounding mountains. Who knows what might be lurking in there. Either way, here is a list of some of the events we plan to be hosting.
Sailing and Navigating
Chucking Pumpkins
Castle Defense
Hawkery
Jousting
Blacksmithery
Royal Etiquette
Jester 101
Scavenger Hunt
Ambush Lesson
and more!
I do hope you’ll consider joining! We’d love to have you over so we can all finally have a good time!”
- Meuric “
On the very end of the letter, the following information is handwritten in a very stylized way.
“Sunlight Faire: Running from July 20th to August 3rd”

This is an Undertale roleplay open to all, even fandomless OCs. If you had no participation in the Ebott events, don’t worry. This event is not connected to that timeline at all. You can come for a nice break and event here anytime!
We hope you’ll join us for our event!
[ * You give a wide smile and a chuckle…! You don’t remember the last time someone liked your name…]
“Th-thank you, your name is lovely too…!” She said, slowly rising to her feet, stumbling for a bit, before catching herself on a wall and taking a breath, she still seemed a little exhausted, but at least could walk.
“Waterfall…?” The Human looked at a nearby waterfall. “How original…” She shook her head afterwards. “I bet there is… sometimes you can find a frog in the water… f-frogs are really cute” Never was allowed to keep one though…
“Sn-snowdin… is that what all that white stuff I was running past was…?” Why didn’t she stop there…? Strange.
‘W-well, if you’re going back there, I could go with you…! I’m not really sure I’m going myself!” She rubbed the back of her head nervously. “Like I said I kinda wasn’t thinking straight… th-that’s bad in a dangerous place like this, isn’t it?”
She nervously laughed. “O-or we can stay here… e-either works…”
Alexis continued to listen to her new friend as she spoke...it was uncommon enough to bump into a fellow human around here, so she was going to enjoy every moment of it.
“Yeah...from what I heard, the King of the Monsters isn’t...very good at naming things. Past Waterfall is Hotland...not too hard to guess what that place is like, and past that is New Home...and yeah, Snowdin has snow. Not sure how, given we’re underground...and yeah, sometimes I see frogs around here. Waterfall’s a pretty great place!”
“I was actually on my way back to Snowdin when I bumped into you, so we can travel together if you’d like!”
The girl looked up at the stranger… a girl with a tutu… was she a kind of dancer…? Either way, her smile put the child at ease, she let out a sigh and looked up at them…
!!!
[ * You take the bottle of water gently…]
“Th-thank you…” She said sheepishly before taking the cap off, and taking a few small swigs, gulping the liquid down, she let out a sigh of relief, before returning it to the stranger. Now, The girl at least didn’t look like she was about to pass out from exhaustion!
[ * You feel rejuvenated! ]
Mathilde was no longer breathing heavily, and looked way, way more at ease. Once more taking a sigh, she dusted herself off, but remained seated, feeling a fair bit safer than before, at the least
“Y-yeah, they kinda tried to hurt me…” Stupid flower, she said, blowing a bit of air at her stray hair hanging over her face. The scarfed human shook her head, before getting up to her feet.
“H-hello, Alexis…! It’s nice to meet you, I’m—!”
[ * You tell her your name is Mathilde! ]
“It’s a pleasure… so… u-um…” She went down to looking at her feet, it seemed some anxiety was beginning to kick ink.
“I know I’m underground but… where exactly am I…?”
Alexis continued to smile...though she was keeping a eye out. The mention of that certain flower had the girl on edge, just in case they came this way. The comment that the flower tried to hurt her new friend was justification enough to keep a look out.
“Mathilde...that’s a nice name! Anyways...this is Waterfall. Pretty damp and dark here...but there’s neat stuff! I was working my way back to Snowdin when I heard you.”
Pulling out another water bottle, she opened it and took a sip herself. It was hard work just walking though Waterfall, let alone run though it.
The girls (Not visible) eyes shot wide open… A… A Human! A smile came across her face as her visible concern and worry went away, someone found her, and they weren’t a monster… that flower was wrong, there were other people down here!
“H-hello… y-yes, I’m fine, just… really exhausted…” She explained, letting out a really big sigh of relief.
“I’ve been running for hours and you’re the first human I’ve seen down here…” She explained. “I’m just relieved that flower was wrong about there only being m-monsters down here…”
The newcomer wasn’t as surprised to see a fellow Human, walking on over. The ballerina was smiling softly...to her, this was just another chance at friendship. She reached into her pack and after a few moments, pulled out a bottle of water, offering it to the girl.
“Here, take this, you look like you need it!”
It was hard to keep her excitement in check at this point, but not wanting to spook someone already seemingly on edge, restrained herself. She did frown a bit at the mention of a ‘flower’, but her smile returned in short order.
“Mmmph. Don’t mind them any. They’re a troublemaker for sure.”
Doesn’t sound like she has much good to say about a certain flower, at least...
[ *You’re still audibly hyperventilating, you really wore yourself out… ]
The girl in blue’s heavy breathes also echoed through the caverns, making it a tiny bit easier to triangulate her position. After catching her breath, she repeated it.
“C-come on… is anyone here? I know that thing said there’s monsters down here but there’s gotta be some people here… right…?”
…
[ * You hear the sound of footsteps ]
Hearing someone come closer, she gasped, raising her voice to try and help whoever that was to have an easier time of finding her
“O-over here!” She yelped
@rabbitandtherose
The echoing sounds quickly helped Alexis in narrowing down where she heard that voice...she was used to the caverns, in her own way, and soon enough, arrived in the same part of Waterfall as...a human? That was a rarity for sure.
“Hey there! You alright?”
The blonde ballerina moved over, a bit slower then she had arrived, to avoid spooking the girl too much...best to take this one slow after all.
[ * You’ve been running for a while since getting startled by that talking flower, how far you ran and how you’ve even gotten so far is a mystery . ]
Doubling over to catch her breath, and eventually falling over, taking deep breaths, the girl realized she managed to run into a very damp, wet, place. Lots of water…. well, at least it wasn’t snowy…
Looking around nervously, she raised her voice sheepishly “H-… Hello?” Maybe someone here could help her…
Deeper into the wet caverns, a young girl was skipping along, humming a tune. The dark caves of Waterfall had her on edge, but she tried to keep herself calm. It was a good day after all, with tons of goodies found at the garbage dump.
She did blink, though, when she heard the sudden hello echo though the cavern. Deciding to detour a bit, the ballerina moved quickly, trying to find the source of that voice she heard...
*[Looks like this video log is just a few minutes after the last one ended.]
* One more day to cover...and I think it was the best one! After breakfast, we got to have a big sled race...and of course, my team nailed it! I can’t help but feel we might have missed something going so fast, though...
* Though after the fun, I had to deal with my punishment for making a mess the night before...which was to clean the dishes. Someone else did them before me, though, so I helped put them away instead!
*[The ballerina’s cheeks turn a little red as she thinks about the next part she wanted to mention.]
* A...anyways, after that, I tracked down Val, who was having trouble with a wheelchair of all things...and since she got sick, she was taken back to the central tent to rest. She...uhh...called me over, and decided she wanted someone to hug while napping, so I ended up napping with her...it was...nice.
*[There’s a bit of a snort from off camera. Alexis shoots a glance at whoever it is, blushing all the deeper now.]
* After a couple hours, though, Val woke me up, since it was time for the grand finale of the event...Firefly Catching, and right after, making some Tem Lanterns to release into the sky! I don’t have the lantern itself anymore, since it got to float away, but...
*[She pulls out her phone to show a picture of the completed lantern...it was distinctly Temmie shaped, with several simple, but colorful shapes. Each side had a pair of pawprints as well, in cyan, orange, blue, purple, green, yellow, red, and white colors. It looked like there was countless floating lights inside of it as well.]
* I had a lot of fun making it, too...we were told to make wishes as we released them into the air, and I did.
*[She was still smiling at this point, but it was clear she was tearing up a bit now. A lot of emotions were still fresh in her mind.]
* I really missed my friends this time around. It had been so long since the last time we all met up, that I wasn’t sure it would happen again...and time here in this timeline doesn’t flow right, or at least that’s what my sis says. What if next time...so much time has passed that they’ve forgotten me...?
*[Alexis suddenly gets a determined look in her eyes, staring right at the camera.]
* ...No. I won’t let that happen. I will meet my friends again, no matter what! That’s the wish I made, that we could all meet up again in the future, because that’s all I want...for everyone to be able to just meet up and have fun, like at the two camps, the academy, and this HOI-lday celebration...that’s what matters to me.
*[The ballerina gives a playful grin. There’s a mix of emotions now, but the raw determination in her eyes was clearer then ever.]
* I’ll make sure my wish comes true for everyone. The last few days...I know what I need to do now, too. I gotta confront my past, so I can have a great future with everyone.
*[Another video, picking up right after the first it seems. It looks like Alexis has gotten some of the goodies from the event on display in the background, including a white t-shirt with blue paw prints and the walkie-talkie from earlier.]
* Hey again everyone! We got two more days of Soul Island fun to go over...I woke up a bit late on this day...but not so late to miss any real fun! Breakfast was light, but that’s okay! Once that was done, though, the Tems had set up a Cops and Robbers game, and assigned my sister and I to the Criminals team...
*[The ballerina frowns for a brief moment.]
* ...But I got taken out instantly at the Crystal Canyon. It’s almost like some of these people know I’m a threat in these sorta things...
*[A voice off camera makes a comment that sounds like ‘you were not paying attention’.]
* I was paying attention...but it was a bit too pretty there and distracting. Yeah. You should do one of these videos, Emma, it would be fun!
*[There’s a pretty firm ‘no’ as a response.]
* Don’t know what you’re missing...anyways...after becoming a hardened criminal, it was time for lunch...sandwiches. Not too much to say there, really...the real fun would come later near supper time. Pizza was the plan, buuuuut...one of the Tems decided to eat all of the pizza. Even I don’t know how he did it, there was like forty of them.
* So instead, the other Tems recruited everyone to help out. Some of us prepared dough, some of us gathered ingredients. Emma and I helped with the second one. I found a utterly massive tomato, and a huge mushroom to match...though I did get bonked in the head with a apple. After that we got to help make the sauce...and about a hour later...it seems the Temmies had made the biggest pizza I have ever seen.
*[Alexis pulls out her phone and brings up a picture of a utterly absurd pizza.]
* Think they mentioned it was like, 100 foot diameter. I’m sure that breaks some sort of record. Helping out in making it, though...made it all the tastier in the end! Val and Daf decided they wanted to compete over who could eat the most pizza, so I joined in too. Probably was a mistake, honestly...it’s gonna take forever to work all this off!
* And to make it worse, we got in trouble with the Tems because we made a mess...though most of it was Val blowing up one of Daf’s robot arms. The Tems bribed some of the other guests with cinnabuns to catch us when we fled, and catch us they did.
* ...Still worth it in the end, that pizza was really good. I snagged a bunch of extra slices for later.
*[A tired, but happy looking Alexis pops up on screen. She’s wearing a black hoodie with a single blue pawprint on it. You get a distinct feeling this is going to be a long one.]
* Hey everyone! It’s been awhile...life’s been hectic around here. Adding onto my home, seeing friends, all that good stuff. Speaking of friends, I got to see so many again recently!
*[The Blue Soul took a deep breath, getting herself ready to discuss what she had just been though, getting her thoughts in order...]
* I was really surprised to get a invite back to Soul Island...it had been quite awhile since the last one, that I thought the Sky Temmies were no longer holding camps.
*[She pulls out a key, and a walkie-talkie...seems like it has a blue case, and a pair of buttons, and perhaps unusual for a walkie-talkie, a video screen on it.]
* The key is what got us to Soul Island...it’s a bit different then the previous one. My sis wants to study the keys we all got at some point, but I wanted to do this first. The walkie-talkie is the cooler part for me, though...it works just like the pins from the camps, and now people can see each other! Emma’s going to test if the pins and the walkies are compatible with each other later.
*[Pausing to breathe, the ballerina puts the stuff down in front of her. Just building up to this was a bit hype for her!]
* Anyways, we arrived, got some yummy breakfast, and were taken on a tour of the island by Mira...it seems most of the Temmies had gone on vacation, so they brought us to the island to celebrate the holidays! We weren’t allowed to go to some places, like Soul Sanctum, but that’s fine...better to focus on what’s new anyways! There was a mysterious staircase and a door...didn’t really get to learn about that much.
* I also got to reunite with some good friends of mine, Penny and Val! They fell into the lake for some reason...guess the teleport to the island wasn’t absolutely reliable...what really surprised me, though, was seeing Winter again! It had been so long, I was worried something had happened to her! Hopefully we can keep in touch more...maybe the walkie-talkies will help with that.
* Lunch was pretty good...I don’t know how the Temmies do it, really. Every time I come to Soul Island, the food is just...wonderful. Anyways...we tried to have a bit of a eating contest, but decided to save it for another time because...uhh...Val nearly choked on the food. She was fine, though...thank goodness!
*[The ballerina is practically giddy with cheer at this point. Just thinking of the good times had a great impact on her mood.]
* After supper...some yummy mac and cheese, it was time to engage in making pillow forts, where it was revealed all of us would be split into four teams. I was on Team Daybreak Warmth...and by working together, we made the best overall pillow fort, that combined structure, comfiness, and looks...though we did lose out in the last two, if barely. Still, it was very close in those categories!
*[Alexis blinks, seeming to look at something, and gasped.]
* This video’s running really long! I think I’ll split it up...don’t want to bore everyone to death watching a massive video of me rambling about the fun I had!
A tower that reaches the heavens.
A canine demi-god who sits at the top.
And his hundreds of children.
He once lost everything, gaining power to unleash Retribution on the one who took it all from him. All he gained however was regret.
Despite his best efforts, he lost everything once more, now the very timeline he came from, near complete Obliteration.
All he has left is his tower and his children, barely just saved by his daughter, now all floating somewhere in the Void between worlds.
Many of his children are lost in that voidspace, lost in the dark and in danger from those that dwell within it and, perhaps, those that may have accelerated the Collapse.
Whether you came on purpose, with invitation, or by sheer accident, now you find yourself on the final bit of earth that he stands on. You are free to leave, he will gladly return you home.
But will you?

Penny clicked on her controller, stopping the die on screen and getting a five. I t looked like she’d be going second in their game. She sat back waiting for Alexis to take her go, fiddling with the controller in her hands as she did.
Alexis had some turn order luck, but her roll on her turn was rather weak, nailing a rather low three. At least she landed on a blue space...it wouldn’t do to be down coins right at the beginning!
Penny took a seat next to Alexis, picking up one of the controllers giving it a slight inspection. She looked rather doubtful about it working but upon seeing Alexis and Emma selecting characters already, she gave it a try.
She moved over the different characters trying to decide which one she wanted, finally choosing Princess Daisy. “Alright then let’s play!”
The AI picked Mario for itself, and with that, the game started up on one of the many colorful boards the game was known for. After the introduction and telling the players to get as many stars to become the Superstar, the die rolls began to determine turn order. Alexis managed to get a seven, while Emma got a much lower three...though thankfully she wouldn’t be going last as Mario rolled a mere one.
