This happened to me this morning on my way to work. Fortunately, I caught this in time.

Thieves are placing an ordinary screw into the nozzle cradle (the holster where the handle rests). This small object jams the lever that signals the pump to reset.

The machine fails to register that the transaction has ended. Someone else can come behind you and use your credit or debit card.

If you see this, notify the gas station manager...ASAP
