So I haven't really posted anything in a while. So sue me. I probably won't post anything tomorrow or the next day either. Whatever.

Here's a flyer for another Fuckin' Funny stand-up comedy house show in Davis. If you can't figure it out, the picture is of some sort of man-child Nicholas Cage circa Valley Girl fiddling about with little Nicholas Cage's from Raising Arizona and Weatherman. Essentially I'm trying to satisfy two requests by making the flyer for these comedians and and complying to theDailyHavis' request to draw Nicholas Cage drunk. Well, he's not necessarily drunk here, but the Nicholas Cage's are clearly letting loose a little, so why not.

Also, I'm not normally a fan of drawing pop culture stuff, but anything for thedailyhavis.

So aside from drawing flyers for folks, I've been yabba dabba dabbling in comics. So far, I've only completed about 4 for a few zines and stuff and I'm going to start feeding them to you slowly. Page by page. This first one is for a zine of comics by various scribblers, beside myself. Rather than start off with my comic, I'm going to start by posting the cover art for the zine, "Neuropuddy." If you must know, this doodle is a rip off of the artwork for Iron Maiden's "Live at Donington" LP.

Here's another comedy flyer for the 2/3/12 edition of the Fuckin' Funny comedy house show series. I believe this was the first of the Fuckin' Funny shows and this flyer, while not being my first drawing, was what made me decide that locking myself in my room and doodling was a good use of my time.

Also, if you're wondering, that's K-1 jelly that mouse just put on his boxing glove. Figure out the rest.

On 8/23/12 this once one man band, now fully staffed, Dogbreth brought some great Arizonan pop punk with folk punk elements to Davis, CA, reminiscent of their fellow statesmen Andrew Jackson Jihad, but with some more power pop riffage.

Dragons also provided some rad, mellow, folky, poppy jams from Arizona.

Davis' own Young Mings played their second to last show this night. They played a variety of pop/post punk, best likened to earlier Nick Cave, but with a more contemporary use of effects.

Finally Azeotropes is a one man pop punk/power pop machine that sounds like some sort of lofi bridge between the Toy Dolls and Green Day.

Alright. Here's a fresh one I just scribbled up yesterday and once again I get to doubley self-promote, cause I'm playing this show too. This show features two raging hardcore bands from Olympia, Washington, Gag and White Wards. Gag is brand new bringing midtempo-fast hardcore with torturously simplistic riffs, driving drums and tormented vokills. Not dissimilar to other contemporary bands such as Hoax.

Contrary to the flyer White Wards has an 's' in the name and is the not the black metal band from Ukraine, but with my primitive computer setup, adding the 's,' rescanning it, transferring it to this laptop and posting it is just a horrible experience that I will not willingly put myself through right now. Unlike black metal dorks, these guys don't waste time whispering about satan and fairies over uninteresting guitar discordance, rather they shout reality at you, over pounding drums and noodley, Greg Ginn reminiscent guitar work.

And of course we have some crazy mathy hardcore from Seattle, brought by MTNS, some straightforward moshy female fronted from Sacramento's Rad and my own band.

This show's happening on 12/6/12 at 1604 Poleline rd in Davis.
