to the parents at my sister’s lacrosse games:
screaming ‘get open’ ‘pay attention’ ‘get open’ at the top of your lungs isnt helpful. you probably don’t even know what you are talking about, the kids can barely hear you, and it’s really annoying. this isn’t the olympics calm down and let the kids have fun.

Australia is currently petitioning to make it that all gender confirming surgeries for transgender individuals are covered by Medicare. This is absolutely huge as surgeries are super expensive even with private health insurance.
It doesn't ask for an address or phone number or anything so I think anyone in the world can sign for it? But I'm not entirely sure.
EDIT: yeah you gotta be a citizen, so if you're outside the country, if you could reblog this to reach more Australians, this would be amazing!

so today my friend and i were walking home from school and we see this guy ahead of us, standing in the middle of the sidewalk, sort of sheepishly handing out pieces of paper. he looked shy, like he was being forced into it. i kinda felt bad for him because two people completely ignored him and walked right past. so we walked up to him and he offered us an invitation to a church. we politely said no thank you, and passed him. about 10 seconds after passing him, i turned around and he was gone. like just not there. now keep in mind, on one side of the sidewalk was a 8 foot, solid concrete wall and on the other side was a busy road. we were about five minutes away from the school so i would have seen him running if he had gone back to school. I THINK MY FRIEND AND I REFUSED AN INVITATION TO A GHOSTS FUNERAL AND I FEEL VERY BAD, IM REALLY SORRY I WOULD HAVE GONE IF I KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENINg.

is there a such thing as time anxiety?? like i wanna get there early but what if it’s an inconvenience? or like what if i’m too timely and people think i’m weird but if i’m late that’s rude? its like i’m stuck in a whirlpool of impossibility and my raft is made of toilet paper, getting ripped out from under me as i slowly drown, getting dragged closer and closer to a mental breakdown.
