I honestly never thought I'd get this far, that someone would actually ask me to do request. I'd be thrilled and honored to accept.

But first, I need to set very clear rules. Okay?

I will accept your request, and these are my rules.

What kind of content do I create?

My content basically consists of Mucha Lucha fanart, divided into the following categories:

Outfits for the characters

Edits

OCs (MuchaLuchaSona)

Interactions between characters

Divorce and Death (Just in case, I'll include warnings if I touch on these topics)

I plan to do redraws (for example, screenshots of episodes)

I'm open to new suggestions (but there will be exceptions, which will be outlined in the next rule).

What kind of content don't I create?

The estimated delivery time is 2-5 days, but this may change if there are unforeseen circumstances (such as personal issues or technical problems). Production

It's best to provide all the specifications of how you want the drawing from the beginning and before starting the sketch.

Once all the specifications are clear, I will show you the sketch.

If you want to make changes, only 3 major changes can be made to the sketch.

Once the sketch is approved, or if the drawing is already finished, only 3 easy changes that affect less than 20% of the drawing are accepted.

The drawing format is PNG or JPG.

The off-camera development of La Piñata

I think La Piñata went through some character development off-screen.

At the beginning of the series, both the wrestling audience and even some of her classmates didn’t seem to like her very much. You can notice this in “Music Man.”

For example, Ricochet appears to have fans taking pictures of him, while the same doesn’t happen with La Piñata.

One possible—and perhaps the strongest—reason for this is her personality. She comes across as tough, a sore loser, and vengeful. In the same episode, after Ricochet defeated her, he gave her the mariachi band as a “prize,” but we all know how that ended.

In “Day of the Piñata,” she can also be quite bossy. It’s also possible that, much like Muscle Man from Regular Show, she simply has an unusual way of showing affection. She tends to joke around or make rather rough jokes at with of the people she cares about the most. it be called teasing or playful roasting. One example is when she grabbed Sumo Sonic’s belly in “Election Daze.”

However, by the time “Brains Meets Brawn” takes place, things seem very different. Besides making a grand entrance (she definitely understands the importance of making an impression and The presentation), the entire crowd cheers for her, applauds her, y la aclamaban.

In several background scenes, she can also be seen socializing with other characters, suggesting that she eventually became much more accepted by both her classmates and the fans of lucha libre.

Hi, Eddie! :3 Why did French Twist had a Red Mouth When he uses a lipstick or a makeup? or What's the Origin of French Twist? sooo, i love his design so much :3

Hi there and thanks for you question.

In all honesty that is a question for my co-creator Lili Chin. While we worked in tandem on all of the designs, French Twist was all her. My take is that yes - he uses lipstick to accentuate his mime persona.

I love the design too, and it was very important in the development of Mucha Lucha!, as up until then we (as lucha libre purists) had been keeping the mask designs and personas fairly grounded in the world of professional lucha libre. French Twist was one of the first designs that pushed things outside the box for us in terms of look and character.

As for his origins, I remember the writer of one of the early episodes had come up with a bunch of names for background characters in the classroom, and French Twist was one. There was no description of the character, just a name. In a moment of inspiration Lili took it upon herself to design him as a Marcel Marceau French mime, giving us the character we know today.

Sharon, Zero Kelvin’s mother. Based on a post by @muchalucha-art, She's not a wrestler, but she works in the more commercial side of wrestling, and she's the polar opposite of Polar 1500 (her husband and Zero Kelvin's father). She wears blue lipstick because she likes how that color looks on her.

Saltamontes, Dragonfly’s mother. When she was young she traveled a lot, sometimes to unconventional places; she met her husband on one of her trips to underground places.

When I was thinking that he, along with other masked kids, had a terrible time in the movie "The Return of El Maléfico," at that moment Goop from Ben 10 came to mind. At that moment I thought, "What if he turns into a slime?"

i was thinking of doing mini-comics for this blog, sorta like the sole comic i did back in 2020 (when the blog was called ml-comics), and i was considering to do a series of mini-comics named “Flea Bites”, I’m still thinking of some things to write on, but all I know that these comic strips would be focused on the flea + other characters.

Fiera Rapada

You know, I loved the scrapped concept for The Connection of French Twist so much. I was genuinely heartbroken that it never got made, so I decided to create and design the girl from Hairy Knuckles Wrestling Academy myself.

Description

She's an unmasked wrestler with a warrior theme, proud of being a heel and intends to maintain that reputation, but she appreciates the extra dataaffection the audience gives her.

She practices archery and likes to collect gems.

She enjoys provoking and playing rough in her matches. Something she has somewhat in common with French Twist.

She's very competitive, quite bossy/capricious, and can be a bit of a diva.

The persons outside her consider her distant, but deep down she's kind and very protective of her own.

Even though she and her friends study at Hairy Knuckles, they also dislike the Hairy Knuckles Brutos trio.

She has a flashy appearance to let her opponent know that their fate is sealed.

Extra data

At first, she didn’t understand French Twist’s mime gestures or his not-so-subtle hints. But she knew his gestures came from a good place, and that was enough for her.

Dragonfairy

This skin is a play on words with Dragonfly, Dragonfairy.

I was inspired by the fuchsia flower to make her dress, the wings in Pinterest images that are basically a fusion of insect wings with dragon wings.

The purple gem on her forehead, besides being a reference to her beta version and Steven Universe, may have something to do with why she looks that way.

Here we have the first skin of my lines, La Piñata Endiablada.

She disguises herself as a demon to infiltrate their ranks, use her tricks against them, and break their pride; most of the time it happens on El cerro.

“Doomien, you'd better be careful who you recruit into your ranks.”

Inspired by the canceled game, Mucha Lucha: Misterioso Grande (PS2).

I started wondering, would the characters have skins? What would those skins look like? So I decided to create skin designs for the characters and also try to explain why they exist.
