I already posted it in my main but here i go again: In light of issue #2 of “¡Mucha Lucha! Tales from the Coliseo” releasing at the end of this year (or in this month, i believe) i have something very important to say; please, please, PLEASE remember to tag your spoilers once the comic is released! i know we’re super hyped for this comic (including me) but please before you post the images, tag them properly. there are some important events happening in the upcoming comic.

It started in my head as a one-sentence premise as I was walking the dog and has expanded in the corridors of my brain into a full story that has spilled out onto my drawing tablet.

Long, long way ahead (page 7 atm).

What would masked students look like in casual clothes? 1# La Piñata and Dragonfly

Piñata dresses in the Hime Gyaru (Gyaru Princesa) style.

Dragonfly's look is inspired by the Yamanba Gyaru style, like its extravagant makeup on her mask and voluminous, multicolored hairstyle. She wears beach-style clothing, a variety of accessories, pearls (fakes) and hibiscus flowers (Also fakes).

Headcanon: Sonic Sumo's mom still has several of her Japanese fashion magazines (including Gyaru style magazines) from when she was younger. When La Piñata found them, she started looking at them a lot and borrowing them, occasionally showing them to her classmates, including Dragonfly. But more than once she had to ask Sonic Sumo to translate them because they were in Japanese.

The most enjoyable, inspiring, exciting time in all of my 35 years in animation was creating and animating the web series 'Rudo By Night' with Lili Chin. I'm SO happy I get to have another go at a couple of the characters again for the new 'Rudopolis' board game. Just drawing Rudo Tito again brought back such wonderful memories and has put me in a very happy place...
